Thats s a traveler that's overly happy because she used the reservation system and doesn't have to **** with those crap machines. Not an employee.
So basically you could be going home with her if you reserved and prepaid for your parking.
A pre-paid reservation is not a sure-fire solution for avoiding the machines. You still have to scan your confirmation code to exit. Last year, we tried to scan ours to get out and the machine wouldn't recognize it. After the machine attendant tried to help us, he finally just said we had to pay again to exit.
So, now we've paid double for parking, and I get the lovely task of having to call customer service for a refund. It went easier than I expected, but still not something I wanted to have to do. Also, the rep on the phone said that if you are in the parking longer than the reservation you booked (eg, your flight was delayed), then you lose the discount anyway. I guess you have to pay the difference when you exit (assuming the kiosks are working correctly).
Not worth it just to save a few $ (might be worth it if you think covered parking will fill up).
