Interesting criminal history for Miss Davis. She's had a LOT of cases dismissed since she was found guilty of a case where she robbed multiple Targets of baby formula. So yeah, she got 12 days (served 8, credited 4) in HCJ for stealing thousands of dollars of mostly formula and other items.
She is currently on probation for another formula theft case and in another case (which was reduced from Aggrevated Robbery - Deadly Weapon to ROBBERY-BODILY INJURY) where she injured someone with a vehicle.
The kicker is she is banned from all Subways in Harris County. I **** you not! Case #185864901010 bond conditions.

I live in Pct 5 and my HOA pays for contract Constables so we are part of the protection racket. This past Sunday I look out my window and see a white Altima with paper tags out front. 4 young Hispanic dudes inside with the dumbass criminal bowl cuts and they're just sitting and all looking around for no apparent reason. They weren't dressed like your typical yard work crew so I doubt they were looking for branches to clean up. They then pulled up to the next block and are still just sitting there looking around. I call the constable and they get an officer out like 5 mins later. Constable pulls up next to them and spends no more than 30 seconds talking to them. Then the Altima and constable leave. I get that there might not have been a reason to arrest them and they might have just been four dudes on the DL looking for a place to mug down but it was kinda shocking to see how little the constable cared about looking into these dudes. This news story makes me wonder even more.

I can understand the frustration but what can the constable do? If they're not doing anything evidently illegal or anything to support probable cause I don't think he can even require them to present ID and run warrant checks on them.
