I pull up to work and someone had left their hazards on after parking. I hope it drains their battery.

This was the entrance ramp on to 10 east from Memorial City Mall area close to Bunker Hill Rd. right in front of the Murphy Oil building. They shut down the feeder just in front of it and diverted traffic back behind it and thru the Zaza area. Happened before 6:15am and took about three hours to clear.

I saw all the flashing lights for that on my way to work this morning, but it was still dark, so I couldn't see anything.

LOL, however, my thought at the time was that it's pretty impressive to have an accident in a wide ass, one lane off ramp. After seeing the pic, I'm even more impressed with the dumbassery.

I take this ramp every day. It's something of a blind hill on the way up. If you got to the top at freeway speed and there was gridlock on the other side, you could have a bad day on wet pavement.

Hottest year ever...well what we really mean is not ever because we really mean just 134 years because that's as long as we measured...so really in the grand scheme of the earth, our data is a fraction of time and rather meaningless, but please listen to us...

edit: for reference, in Christian discussion and debates, the Reformation is considered recent in terms of doctrinal development at 500 years ago...So the timeframe they propose is just over 1/4 of the way to even that time period.
