Cypress dry again. Not a single drop today. Yesterday maybe .1 inch. Uggh. Hope those with the big storms get good rain but no serious winds or problems.

Still got it here. Our transformer used to go out every time it got windy, but I think it was finally replaced at some point. It's really cool to be in the dark with lights on across the street.

They had "planned" maintenance a couple weeks ago to improve reliability. Failed with the first breeze.

The big ass storm seemed to part right before hitting the Heights area. Went right around us on both sides. Got slammed for about 4 minutes but was hoping for a lot more. EDIT...I know, I know, I know..."that's what she said.."

Huge rain here in the LC. Localized street flooding. Been dumping buckets for about 75 minutes. Probably 2 inches. Your mom protected. Radar looks like we have more on the way.

The Cypress Dome is real. Looked like it was going to be a violent monsoon then just skirted around us yet again. Not a drop. Did get a very light sprinkle for a minute or so last night. Just enough to tease.

Ive lived in this area most of my life. The storm a few months ago where trees were broken all over was the worst I ever drove in. Every single car had to stop and the wind had to be like 70+mph

Got in a storm where every car had to stop once. Not from wind. Just rain so heavy that everyone on 59 south from IAH headed towards the loop pulled over. I had just dropped my dad at the airport. First time for me to drive on 59.

It was nuts. We waited it out for a few minutes then proceeded cautiously on the kinda flooded freeway.
