These workarounds are still concerning as they are not the resolution as the KHGX station. The NWS uses this higher resolution data to issue tornado warnings based on vortex signatures on radar that lower resolution stations won't be able to detect as early.

It may take a few decades for the smoke to clear, but once it's all said and done, I think we'll find out that the whole lockdown WFH thing was only accepted because enough quasi-Brendas with MBA's made their way to the C-suite as EVP of HR.

Rain-wise, maybe. Bullseye for storms is still Harris and Montgomery Counties and then off towards the east and Northeast.

Did they turn Dickinson back on? My free radar app is working again. My Radar, and I don't think it's smart enough to log onto Hobby or Bush without an update.

No. It's still off. Some radar apps use a composite from nearby radars.

yep, but suspect it will back up all the previous flights. Hope not as I have a bit of a drive once I land - putting me at an after midnight arrival to my destination.
Yeah i was supposed to fly out at 10am but changed to a 7am to avoid the naders and delays that might have happened… then an idiot tried jamming his bag into overhead above me and broke it and we ended up delayed anyways…. I was pissed. Anyways, good luck Htown, hope my house is still there when I get back.

Hell yeah it did. Wasn't severe, but it was steady most of the day. Probably 3-4 inches.

Ch 2 weatherman Anthony Yanez did say that if the gulf storms were strong enough it could block instability and lessen the tornadoes development.
Amazing. It's storming way worse today than yesterday and there wasn't even a peep about today. Futurecast looks kind of tornadoey if this spins up in the next hour or so.
