Somewhat relevant but on my last helicopter trip in the GOM, we flew by a water spout. The pilot was deviating on our trip to get a closer look when it fizzled out.

Per SCW: "This month is on pace to - you guessed it - become the warmest September on record in Houston. The month's average temperature is 85.6 degrees so far, which would smash the city's record for September heat."

Saw this on Sunday driving back from south Texas. Two idiots with their hazards on in a rain storm. Wished I had a front end mounted missle launcher at that time..

PSA - driving in rain with your hazards on is super distracting to the driver behind you and it makes it hard to see your brake lights.

That, and I think it takes priority over turn signals on pretty much all vehicles so it messes with that too.
