It's still expected to drift west/west-southwest towards the South Texas coast Wednesday/Thursday. Neither is anything south of Houston. It didnt even rain enough to get my driveway all the way wet. Somehow Brazoria County is under a flashflood watch until Friday too, but looking at the current radar, this thing is done.

Galveston, Laporte, etc. are getting the good stuff...west of I-45, pretty much nothing.

It's at least cooler with the cloud cover, so that's something.

Needs to jog further west, but doesn't look like it's going to.

Mets are saying the actual center of circulation is still offshore of Corpus and not what we are seeing by Galveston. Supposedly the real center is coming in tonight sometime and will fire up again. We'll see.

First time I have personally seen rain since Early April. Missed the rain in May being out of town. Longest I've ever gone without it.

F me. Everything is going east. I'm a little NW of Houston and I don't remember the last measurable rain we'v had. Chances this morning have been reduced to basically zero. The 10 day forecast is back to 100/77 with no rain.

Yep. I'm in Brazoria County, you know where they said we have a flood watch. I have managed a quarter inch, and it looks like the spigot is now turned off for us. What a cocktease this entire week.
