I heard a somewhat tongue in cheek interview that Mexico had not seen a lot of these issues because their immune systems are used to fighting off a lot of stuff mainly because they will eat tongue and tripe.

Also went on to say that unless you are missing a limb you don't want to go to a Mexican hospital.

For testing times info....family member was tested late last Monday (like close to midnight) and got results by Thursday morning.

Coworker was tested Monday and after calling several times it seems his test was lost. He's still a bit sick but they say he's not sick enough now to get tested again.

This was the mother of a high school friend of mine. My friend and his wife are both Aggies. He's also a pastor, and has been sharing on Facebook.

Fortunately, his mother was able to transition to hospice care and phone her family before she passed.

The worst is his dad has to grieve largely alone due to quarantine, though family members have visited out in the yard while his dad remained on the porch.

(His dad is perfectly well, if any of you are curious.)

My cousin and his wife are going through a similar issue now. Her father had a lung issue and deteriorated rather suddenly. They didn't get the results of his test until after he'd passed and she had been in direct contact with him. They're under quarantine for about another week but she can't really see any of her family outside of talking to them from her porch.

I don't post often, but I am in serious need of prayer. I have been quite sick for 9 days, and my covid test has come back positive. Unfortunately, it has infiltrated my lungs and I have been admitted to the hospital on iv antibiotics. This has been the hardest week of my life and not sure what will happen next. Husband and I are both Aggies, class of 99 and 00. Have two young daughters at home with no symptoms so far. Please, please keep me and my family in your prayers.
