I did the growlers to go at Cobble & Spoke yesterday... awesome idea and the bears were great but I learned the hard way not asking the price before getting the bill. $95 for 5 32oz cans. The wife was happy so I was happy.

I've definitely have spent more $/week in the lockdown than i normally did due to not having to drive home.
I got a growler of Ommegang Flying Saucer 25th Anniversary (>10%) from the saucer on Sunday in their "$15 any nonTX draft". I shouldn't post this but hopefully the people reading this thread aren't a bunch of little snitches. There's a fella in the Gazebo@Haden giving haircuts and beard trims.
He told me haircuts are $5 and he does a great job. I didn't inquire about beard trims but would assume it's the same. Kind of a mix and match deal.

I'm guessing that was a fatality accident that has kept Gessner and I10 closed all day? Prayers for whoever was in that vehicle, it looked smashed to bits.

Drunk driver killed lady driving other car. Sunday morning at 8am!
What's going on between witte and gessner between i10 and Westview? It looks like a road only wide enough for one car has been laid. Don't think it reaches all the way to gessner.
Haven't been over there in a while but I think you're talking about the former drainage ditch where they put in covered drainage. That's just north of the SBISD Maintenance and bus barn across from the Chase call center.
Is that the ditch that goes behind HEB? There was once a rumor of a bike path there.
I laugh every time I drive over that thing because the dirt has now settled and it's back to being a ditch.

Torchys and Mias look like they are getting close to opening soon. I did notice that they opened up a wuhan testing site in back parking lot. More testing means higher numbers!

My new go to lunch spot is the Hecho En Mexico bus at Gessner & Nob Oak. The big burrito, quesadilla, and gordita are my favorites. I've been sticking with beef fajita and pastor. Haven't tried the cabeza, tripa or flor de calabaza yet. It is a little different than other taco trucks as they are "Chilango" which google says is Mexico City style.
I've recently discovered Tostaderia Madero's right there at Clay and Blalock
