The black half of the bezel represents social equity so I think we have it, a true Lefty Rolex. All that is irrelevant as I would still like to own one.

Have gotten the rid of the majority of my Rolexes and now rocking with Glashutte, Bucherer, and Breitling.
The seaq is awesome and better than a sub in my opinion, really like the nylon deployment strap.
To answer the question - not the watch you posted. You're not going to get a new Tag or Tudor for $1K.MarathonAg12 said:MarathonAg12 said:
Bourbon enthusiast and watch noob.
Can I get a omega in good condition for 1k?
I just love the look those. Or am I destined for tag and Tudor
If/when I get a SeaQ, it will be this one. That two-tone is killer.Silian Rail said:

There are other great watches in that range (Look Longines if you like the Seamaster), but the only way to get a Tudor or Omega for that is to rob someone and accidentally drop $1K on the ground.
I'd suggest starting here. Reality check on cost might be in order even if used.MarathonAg12 said:TheOC16 said:To answer the question - not the watch you posted. You're not going to get a new Tag or Tudor for $1K.MarathonAg12 said:MarathonAg12 said:

Thank you! And I don't mind if it's used!

This looks like an amazing watch. Probably a couple of bonuses away, but this is now a goal. Current nicest watch I own is a Tag. I know, I know.BalancingAct said:If/when I get a SeaQ, it will be this one. That two-tone is killer.Silian Rail said:

A long time grail, I picked up the Silver dialed chronograph 7 or 8 months ago. Incredible watch, the complications are very unique, and stunning dial and movement.YouBet said:
I like this Glashutte. Being German, I do wonder how it runs once off warranty though.
Good to know.BalancingAct said:A long time grail, I picked up the Silver dialed chronograph 7 or 8 months ago. Incredible watch, the complications are very unique, and stunning dial and movement.YouBet said:

If you can get the newer versions with a bracelet, I highly suggest it. Best I've owned. Extremely tight tolerances and the quick adjust is as good as it gets.
Like most German watches, they are a little chunky and broad sided. But it wears really well on my wrist. I have a 7" wrist and it looks appropriately sized. Square watches wear larger than a typical circular dial, so it probably wears closer to a 42mm.YouBet said:Good to know.BalancingAct said:A long time grail, I picked up the Silver dialed chronograph 7 or 8 months ago.
