I would say the PAM0005, they were honest that it was a decorated ETA movement with their own bridge and regulator, and it was clean and classic Panerai, and they didn't try to charge $20k for it.

New stuff too I believe is clean. I have a Radiomir Oficine that I've really enjoyed. It's a manual winding but looks very mid century modern to me. $5k new And is entry level.

Any opinions about the Mr-G watches?

My wife picked up latest Architectural Digest for some inspiration because we are moving. It has two watch ads (1) Rolex Skydweller and (2) a Swatch.

One of these is not like the other. Amusing to see a cheap Swatch in such a high end mag like that sharing ad pages with a Skydweller.

Not the Omiwatari but a nice looking Seiko nonetheless- my seldom worn original Seiko Presage Cocktail time. My crappy phone camera doesn't catch the powder blue well enough in this fluorescent lighting.
Edit to add the second hand is a contrasting navy blue.

i want to like Tudor, but nothing i see of theirs excites me. they just seem meh

They are definitely "tool" watches. Much like Rolex USED to be back in the day

Love it. I really wanted the 39.5mm Summer Blue PO. No longer available, although everything is available one way or another.

That whole lineup was great!

Went to a golf shamble yesterday at Blue Jack. 2 Rolex's were up for grabs on par 3's.

First Rolex was an all gold Daytona with a green dial. 250yard par 3 but you had to get a hole in 1.

Other Rolex was a Hulk. 165yard par 3. Top 5 closest to the pin for a shoot-out. I missed the top 5 by 3ft. My buddy was 2nd closest. All 5 missed the green on the first go. They let them have 1 more go. My buddy completely duffed it but a dude did win it.

They had these for sale. I didn't even ask for a price.
