My mistake ! I do like the Seamaster! Here's mine

That Timex Deep Water is pretty interesting. The bezel reminds me of my Pelagos 39, and it definitely doesn't "look" like a Timex.

I really like the watch. My only complaint is that the rotor is pretty loud

This is probably my most worn watch since I put it on an Artem strap. Also, I wouldn't recommend spending $5,000+ on a rubber strap watch if a bracelet is available. Buy on bracelet and swap.

Good point, although, I am not a fan of the Seamaster bracelet.

I'm not a Seamaster fan overall. I don't care for the bezel on the divers, and the case shape on the AT doesn't work for my wrist size. My second most worn that meets the request criteria is a Pelagos 39. The titanium is great for everyday wear since it's light and self healing if it gets a scratch.

For $300 or a little over there's the Stirling Burton or CWC G10. They are quartz field watches with nylon straps, but they look pretty cool and should stand up to a lot. And he won't see a ton of other guys wearing one.

Couple of real life shots with questionable lighting and then the watch at Omega.com. IRL it looks slightly grayer than it does at Omega where it looks more blue.

New Watch inbound, kind of an oddball but I love the color scheme and the cleanliness of the dial.

This is the Oris 40mm big crown pilot "Hank Aaron edition" which is naturally done in the red white and blue of the Milwaukee/Atlanta Braves. As a Houstonian growing up in the 90's, the Braves were our mortal enemy, but anyone who isn't partial to red, white and blue needs to be deported.

I had a 20% coupon at "MrPorter" a lifestyle app who has a Tag, IWC, Oris, Longines and a few other distributorships. I also buy my ties from them, and a loafer every now and again.

The cost on this thing was quite good. $2160 plus tax, and irs a large wearing 40mm (48 lug to lug) and it comes with a double stitched leather strap or a red white and blue nato.

The specs are fairly pedestrian, modified ETA movement, 41 hour power reserve, 4 hz, 50m water resistance, but I didn't expect anything amazing for the price point.

It's a really clean looking watch, well put together that I can definitely see wearing at some baseball games, or bbq or 4th of July parties, so it was an easy decision at right around 2500 with tax.

My second cousin passed away a few years ago, and his sister just gave me his Piaget Polo Day Date. She thinks he may have bought it right before he played for the Eagles in Super Bowl XV, but she's not entirely sure. I plan to reach out to Piaget to see if they might be able to give me more info based on the serial number 398XXX. I also want to see if I could obtain a new box, as the cushioning is starting to dissolve.

The clasp is broken and it needs a new battery, and likely servicing. Do you all recommend I take it to Zadok in Houston? I'm in BCS.

I'm a big Panerai fan. Wish they were more at Omega price point instead of Rolex. They just don't hold values either. But I love the look and history of them.

They're a very storied watch with a great pedigree, but they're still wearing MASSIVE egg on their face from the "in-house movement" fiasco where they essentially lied to everyone, and then tried to cover up the lie, tripled down on the lie, tinted an exhibition caseback nearly opaque so you couldn't tell that they were lying, and then finally came clean.
