Haven't gone outside to look at the rain gauge but weather app is saying we got 4" here in Fort Worth. It was pouring for 4+ hours so I would believe it for sure

Honestly that's crazy. The gauge half a mile from us is reporting over 8" and just 1/2 a mile north of us at about 6.5". We are on track to receive a foot of rain if this stays like this another 6-8 hours

The Addison heat dome shields some of N Dallas and Richardson sometimes. I've been starting to wonder over the past couple of years if the 121-DNT development isn't creating a similar effect for us. I know we've all been lacking this year, but when we do get something, I've been seeing this happen more than just with this event. I'm basically just under 2 miles from the DNT, directly east of that development

Guy down the street from me has a Weather Underground station I can watch online. We're right at 2" over the last two days.

Today is only 0.40" so far, but looks like it'll rain for quite some time.

I can't confirm it, but I would bet we've had at least 4" of rain in Lakewood and wouldn't be surprised if it was double that.

It's double that. Gaston/Abrams has received 8" so far.
