SW FW lost water pressure a few minutes ago. Buddy in Ponder lost all pressure as well. Heads up!
I just lost water in Ridglea Hills. It's been working all day and then just stopped.

I've talked to the neighbors and everyone is out over here. I guess that's better than frozen pipes.EwingBarnes said:
Just occasional light snow here. I believe there are now multiple water main breaks including the Ridglea area.

Why are we running out of water?? People running their faucets?
If true what's the next domino that falls? I guess those so-called peepers aren't looking quite so ridiculous now.

Denton County Fresh Water Supply District 10 water tower is empty and the lines a empty. They don't have power to pump or refill tower. Just had to walk a buddy through draining every line after shutting off main house valve and turning off / draining tankless water heater. They're saying Atmos is threatening shutting down the natural gas supply. Anyone have information on that?

Pump stations are frozen or don't have power. Some water mains breaking.

Yeah, it sucks, and yeah the utilities may have dropped the ball, but how about a little personal responsibility. I told my wife don't think about it as missing power/electric. Just think of it as camping in a very fancy tent. There's been nights where I wish I was in a 30 degree house.
Man, I hope there's an isolation valve so at least you don't have to cut off the whole house.EastSideAg2002 said:
Damn water line broke. Flooded kitchen and two rooms. All the resto people are booked.
At this point in our society certain people would just rather steal your crap. Sister in law had buckets of snow (were going to bring and melt for use as needed; water is out) stolen off of their front porch last night. Gonna keep my little holstered friend a little closer today.CampingAg said:
