Are they really running out of gas here in Dallas? Had a friend in Plano just ask on Facebook if anyone knew where gas was available.

25% of USA refineries are off line and transportation is disrupted in areas that produce gas. This may not get better until next week.

The independents will be told to STFU.
I think a panic is what has caused the issue.CJS4715 said:
I have heard the same through the grapevine... any chance that a panic might exacerbate the issue? We are travelling from DFW to San Antonio this weekend, and it's at least making me a bit nervous.

I'd just wake up early and go. My father in law drove around to 6 different places last night, waited about 30 minutes and got some.CJS4715 said:
Don't disagree, but it's reaching the next level of folks at this point. So, while it a concern right now - is there a chance it really becomes bad? I'm worried about needing gas for my return trip on Monday and being SOL.
FWIW, I'm doing the same thing and have some buddies in SA who're saying there's absolutely nothing out of the ordinary down there.CJS4715 said:

I just heard about this also, seems WFAA blasted a story about a gas shortage and people are panicking.
