Nope. Simply pick a source that aligns with your opinions only (all others are fake) and then wonder "how did we become so polarized?!"

Real hard hitting journalism this morning.
'South Park' pokes fun at President Trump in name change for upcoming season
Guess the supply of anti-Terrafab, anti-Flock cameras, and anti-data centers stories must be low right now.

Here if you derail a thread, mods can delete your post or ban you. If you have a social media account, you are your own mod, and you can choose to block any poster you feel is derailing or otherwise not contributing to the thread in a meaningful way. Some call it censorship. Others call it account management.

Unless you were hateful, I will never understand why a public personality would block someone, often times it just proves the point that was being made about them.

I wasn't hateful at all.
Some are just thin skinned. Climate change people tend to be very easily offended.

So I have had Rusty directly attack/answer me in a comment during a newscast he was anchoring. One of two possibilities: he is on SM during breaks, or he has flunkies doing his SM post. I am pretty sure it's the later not the former. Can you imagine Woodward or Bernstein having an intern on SM posting for them ?

Rusty's X account does not serve as an official KBTX account, thus he is entitled to block individuals who oppose his views. Nevertheless, Rusty effectively represents KBTX, and he should be aware that his social media conduct reflects on both KBTX and Grey Media.

This is his KBTX account. The logo is all over it. He has a personal account on Instagram.

I think he has multiple FB accounts too.

And on here if I had to guess.

He definitely has flunkies. He was a couple of rows behind me at Nutcracker last year and his page had a number of posts during the show. I wouldn't care except he insists he is the only one who posts on his social media page.

You can schedule your posts ahead of time, as well. He could be doing this.
While I get annoyed by Rusty's liberal viewpoint, it's clear he's unwilling to stop that. It is what it is. There's plenty of room for a conservative Rusty to rise on the scene as well.
This is what the future will look like in terms of local news coverage. KBTX will eventually go away, and the larger markets will pick up these local guys.
Rusty is a good guy, just remember he is basically our local Oprah.
Already we're getting close to AI being able to present a highly realistic anchor who reads the news. The big holdup is computing power. To get that level of realism for a newscast every night takes too much compute to do it at reasonable cost right now.phillytex24 said:
There will be no need for KBTX or local affiliates in 5 years. That station will eventually close completely by the 2030s.
