I am buying another stripped lower this weekend and my LPK from ADCO shipped today for my one from last month. These elections are making my BRD flame up bad.

I keep looking at the 20" HBAR's. If it wasn't for FFL fee and shipping, think I would have one.

I do have an extra sight, so that's a reason to get one right?

My FFL fee is only $10. I can't remember what shipping was but I justify by thinking what I would have spent on gas driving around pricing them.

Usoos...do you mind me asking when you ordered your bargain bin gun? I ordered mine on the 12th and haven't heard anything yet as far as the shipping date. This is my first AR, and I'm really anxious to get my hands on it.

I ordered it on the 11th at roughly 3:00 pm. Their website says to give them at least 14 days before you worry.

Sounds good...and I was going to give them the full 14 days before sending any e-mails or calling. Hopefully mine will get shipped in the next day or two.

For what it's worth I never got a shipping confirmation.

I received my shipping confirmation late yesterday. Really fired up about having it come in this weekend! My first black rifle!

Has anyone bought the AR-45 at the bottom of the page? I'll have some extra cash in a couple weeks and can pretty much convince the wife of anything right now for some reason. I have my eye on that one, along with a nice big pistol and a new shotgun. She's cool with that.

Yes, I know 45 ammo is expensive. I'd probably like it better in a 10mm, but for the money, I'll be perfectly happy with the 45.

I'm also trying to talk my dad into going halfsies with me on the $570 16" AR HBAR if I'll help take care of his hog problem a couple quick mornings a week.

Got mine today. DPMS lower. Bascially all new parts on these guns now. My FFL tells me the "deal" is so popular now, they are moving so much volume on it it is worth selling essentially new rifles for that price point. Now I just need to be pointed to a good deal on a tool kit for this thing...

CMMG is beginning to piss me off. I ordered my rifle 2 weeks ago last Saturday, my FFL faxed his information over 2 weeks ago today. I waited the 2 weeks before emailing about my order status.

I finally got a response from them today - my order is "in production" and they can't even tell me a guesstimate as to when the shipping date will be. Could be tomorrow, could be 2 more weeks.

I expected the full 2 week wait before shipping, but not in excess of it. Slightly frustrating, to say the least, especially when I'm itching for some trigger time.

I understand that. I was venting more than anything, especially after seeing some people with 10 day shipping and what not. I was hoping that they could have given me more than a "in production" answer with at least a ballpark time frame, but I also understand that the volume they are going through is probably sky high.

It just breaks my heart to see my sight and a pile of ammo waiting to get used, and not being able to use it. I'm on the verge of tears lookin at it....

I don't think their order volume is that high unless they are recycling order numbers.

My order number was in the 9000 range.

It is annoying when they say the rifle are boxed and ready to ship yet it takes 2-3 weeks to put on a label and call UPS.

I got my first order in 3 days, my second order in 10 days, and I expect to wait 20+ days for this order.

Mine took two weeks and two days to come in. Basically, my FFL (who has had many CMMG guns come to him) says that the volume is a lot higher than what CMMG planned for, but they are still making decent margin so they are continuing to sell them. They probably ran out of ready to sell stock a while back. The reason they are making money is they are ordering parts in bulk to fit out the blemish rifles (still haven't found a blemish on the upper on mine), and probably have only 1-2 people putting the rifles together, testing them, etc, to keep costs down. If there is any kind of delay in parts kits coming in, or a batch of lowers is late, etc, it probably sets them back several days.

Really, for the price, a little patience is probably in order. I got frustrated waiting 16 days for mine, but it did show up!

Just ordered two. 16" for my BIL and a 20" HBAR for me. The clock is ticking...

Brownells or Midway have them. Or you can get one at the next local gunshow. Also, look on the Texas Hometown forum of ARFCOM to find a Houston area AR dealer. There are several.

Sorry to all those who didn't pull the trigger on these deal on time. I got an e-mail from them today saying they had discontinued the offer, but had received my order and would still fill it.
