That page is hilarious. Reveille peek ranch looks like a cross between woodstock and Burning Man. We went driving around after church in Lampasas, and the roads were dead. All the locals stayed home.

Yeah drive from CA to Vanderpool/Utopia yesterday and the roads were DEAD!
I'm on a ranch now with the Houston Museum, so I won't see the alleged hordes until tomorrow afternoon.

No traffic
Plentiful gas and groceries
No swarms of hippies from the metro areas taking over small town hill country Texas
Ho hum
Crowds are certainly less... None of the people I know that were driving out of Houston today left. I'm sure the weather has stopped huge amounts of people from traveling today.Jason_InfinityRoofer said:
Now they have news articles about how crowds were way less than expected. I guess I never really seriously thought towns were going to be overwhelmed. I hope everyone that came to these places for camp and do the eclipse stuff just chills and enjoys the experience and doesn't freak out and leave over the weather. It might hail, might rain, might not. Lol. Enjoy your family and camping anyway.
