Stopped in there a couple weeks ago before our scouting trip.
That is a really awesome place.

Awesome, thanks. I'm headed to SW CO, so lower elevation. I was just wondering if we'd be hearing bugling yet or were going to be more silent. Usually we're later in the month and more South Central CO.
What unit in SW CO? I'll be in 65.

As a reminder, as you travel, don't leave your gear in the truck if you stop over night. We are heading to Chama, NM for a hunt… stopped for the night in Amarillo… and had one of our trucks broken into. They stole two bows and two backpacks (full of optics, range finders, knives, etc.). Learn from our stupid and expensive mistake, take your gear in to your hotel room. Amarillo PD made it sound like this is an every night occurrence. Now we are off to try to find/buy new bows in Albuquerque or Santa Fe.
Absolutely. PM sent.WestTexAg12 said:jellycheese said:I'll also be in 65. Should roll in Saturday around lunch.WestTexAg12 said:AgEng06 said:

I'm going during 1st rifle, so mid Oct.
I'd love to chat with you after your bow hunting. We scouted about 3 weeks ago, so if you wanna chat before you head out I may can provide some info based on my scouting if you want.

Choclabs- would you be open to connecting via email with me? I would love to know a little more about your experience with this outfitter. I'm looking for a mule deer for my Old Man.
My email is (redacted). Thanks so much!
Following up on this. Did you find a mule deer hunt?
