No, it's not about ripping people off. It's that the land doesn't belong to them. It belongs to the tribe and can't be repo'ed. There for there is nothing to secure the loan. Imagine asking a bank for a loan to build a house on land you don't own, and can offer nothing to secure the loan. At this point, I think it is highly likely. I'm sure he came home freaked out and tried to claim it as an accident. His parents believe him (technically could be true) and see how he is being convicted by the public and decide there is no way he is gonna get a fair trial. You may be right about the destination but if he was legit looking to stay out of prison, the smart move would have been to book it to Mexico figure out how to get a fake passport and then either head somewhere in Central or South America and disappear or see if you can't get a job on a boat headed to Indonesia, Asia (Nepal, Vietnam), Northern Africa (Morocco) or Russia.Hollywood81 said:
