If he'd done that would they have disclosed finding a gun? Think he ingested something. Can they tell that from the bones?

Edited to add, whatever it was, hope it was slow and painful.

I think he went out Oregon trail style.

Whatever or however, the couple had a toxic relationship and both are dead before the age of 24.

Iit was a crime of passion. Didn't make it right but he did the right thing in the end.

it does, you just have to think a little darker...

You want a toe? I can get you a toe, believe me. There are ways, Dude. You don't wanna know about it, believe me.
Hell, I can get you a toe by 3 o'clock this afternoon... with nail polish.

His girlfriend gave up her toe! She though we'd be getting million dollars! Iss not fair!

Guarantee i would trade a finger or toe for a chance to avoid life in prison

The Dude abides.

Kinda hoping he battled a gator to the death. Or maybe a Florida Panther.

Brian died of dysentery (drank the water in the swamp)
"Died in a hunting accident" was the appropriate Oregon Trail reference

Brian died of dysentery (drank the water in the swamp) - yeah...it is dysentery not hunting accident.

Hunting accident in Oregon Trail occurred after the rest of the party died from other causes. It was the PC way of saying suicide. Same as this dude.

Maybe his parents had some extracted teeth scattered in the swamp and now he's free to live out his live in Brazil or whatever

I was ready to give up on the old boy but you may be onto something! He makes his way to Tegucigalpa, gets a full set of implants and mails his teeth to family lawyer. Parents pay off someone at gatorland to "process" them. Return to swamp with tooth-filled gator poop and dry bag, freedom for Brian.

Apparently the remains were bones. My first thought was "surely a body can't decompose that fast"... but I guess when its sitting out in mother nature, it's surely possible.
Catfish, crawfish, gators, and even minows all eat dead animals and decaying flesh. They will make fast work of a body.

Salt water environments are even faster. Crabs and fish will make quick work of a carcass.

Let's see...

His parents told the police that was a favorite spot of his
Some of his personal items are found there
Some partial remains were found there
The Medical Examiner has been called to that location.

I'm no genius, but it looks like this story is over.

He placed some belongings there, parents leaked the location to investigators, he snuck a body out of the morgue and hightailed to South America

Would not be surprised at all to find out something like this is what has actually happened!

Just too convenient that parents lead authorities to the personal belongings and then bones are found.
