Did anyone else notice that if you wear a helmet, your characters voice gets muffled during dialogue? I have noticed it for both Kliff and Oongka. I dont have Damiane at the moment so dont know if it also effects her, or if she even has plate armor that would cover her head. Its a nice detail.

I also stay up way too late playing this game. I've even looked at the clock and said in my best Kliff voice "no is not the time for sleep"

I love all the stuff you can do in this game. I literally spent all evening yesterday doing nothing but robbing nobles. Only went to jail once and got the gold bar without getting caught.

when you flash your lantern on a noble, does the gold bar look different from the coin bag? I've not robbed any nobles yet, but always look to see if they have a gold bar if I see one. To this point, it only shows the coin bag...but maybe that's not indicative of what they have on them?

Yes looks like a stack of gold bars.

They buffed that because of so many people reloading at the place in Deminess. So now it is layered.

I guess I should have clarified. I was robbing their houses lol. There is one house with a gold bar in a fireplace that only shows up as a coin bag when you shine the lantern on it.

Their houses? How do you know if it's a noble house?

They are the nicer houses that have strongbox puzzles or random chests and drawers and cabinets. The house with gold bar in the fireplace is guarded and they won't let you in. You have to climb in through a window. You can get quite a bit of silver and trade goods just by opening all of their drawers and cabinets.

They nerfed it along the way somewhere. I saw video where you could push that whole MFing fireplace to a better spot and just take the gold from it every few days when it reset. Gamers never cease to amaze me.

I just barely got Oongka and did not like how he plays yet. Once I get Damiane back I'll be using her some.

I want to learn how to use them and be good with them but I get stuck trying to use them the same as I use Kliff. And they just don't work that way.

just about threw my controller last night because of the piss poor button scheme. Doing the salt/wagon mission where you have to take a wagon on a long delivery. I will check the map (start button) often to make sure I'm on the right path. During the mission, you can restart the mission if the game detects your wagon is in a bad state which apparently is if a wheel is off the ground. A pop up to push a button restarts immediately. Guess what, it is the same button.

The easiest way to control the wagon is to use the camera control to steer and the direction control + camera for sharp turns. It's a pain in the ass

i don't have a problem controlling the wagon. It seems like certain ground surfaces causes bumps where the wagon wheel is lifted off the ground causing the start button restart option to pop up. At least that's what I think is happening. I caused me to restart the mission 3 times, the last of which was close to the destination.

So what happens is my wagon is moving and I want to check the map. I release the thumbsticks and A-button (xbox) and go to press the start button. The wagon is still slowing down and the wheels are bumping along. All of a sudden, the restart option pops up right before I press start to go to the map and boom, mission restarted.

So, is this an Xbox problem only? The PS controller effectively has 1 more button than an Xbox, so I'm wondering if the controls work better on PS....?

I haven't run into that. I've gotten my wagon all kinds of stuck on stuff and I'm able to get it moved off it.

I've had my wagon going, get to my destination and hop off but the horses keep going and break the GD wagon at the destination.

I would interact more with trade if I could manage it like a dispatch mission. Maybe have it to where every once in a while you had to go save the wagon from bandits or something. As it is I only use it to run products to the trade station that is on the highlands where you fight the Goldleaf boss guy.

I've got so much gold from the bank and theft, I dont waste my time with trade wagons.

beats me. I haven't much experience with wagons but I do notice that restart prompt pop up (right side of the screen, very small) when just ambling down the road. I'm not stuck at all.

I do trade for the camp. 4.5 MM in camp funds from dispatches and trade.

I'm just doing stuff I don't like doing in games like trading just to get through the quests. Is there a big reason why you need so much money and resources? Just wondering what activities are useful and what are just because you can. I remember spending a lot of time building bases in Starfield but then realized what a waste of time.

They are allegedly adding a bunch of items and gear in patch 1.04. I hope at some point they add transmogs and display cases / dummies for your house.
