It's good to hear some positive results. Thanks for the update!

The CBA850-1200M is the Cat 18 4x4 MIMO, but it costs a lot. I got it since it seemed cheap compared to the tower they wanted me to build for a WISP. Current setup is...
This modem.

And then an Orbi system for the wifi.
I have one of the top end Cradlepoint 850a's with a 1200M modem that is capable of 4X4 MIMO (4 antenna connections). It was a waste of money at this point, but maybe they will upgrade one of my towers to be capable of using it. I can't return it now...chaca5151 said:tfunk02 said:

I'm curios on your 4 roof mounted antennas....my modem has two plugs one for the main antenna and one for the aux antenna. Currently using the little rabbit ears it came with but only getting 6.3 download and 4.2 upload
1) how are you able to have four wires connected to two spots on your modem?
2) how do you have the four antennas set up on your house? Are they all on the same pole? Is the antenna pole grounded? and last one how high up does your antennas go?
$98/month when OTR is $60/month. I'd only consider it if AT&T service didn't work in my area and I couldn't find a Sprint/TMobile option for cheaper.aggolfer said:
Anyone try limitless data?
Click on the $100 new subscription link, they changed it now to "big news is coming".hph6203 said:
Subscriptions seem to be back up.

At the time I posted the site had the different options available to activate an account after clicking choose plan, must've changed it since the time I checked.
OTR has done the same to me twice. They stated that AT&T was updating their towers. It was several months apart, but it's strange that I am on Cricket and didn't have any issues with cell data while the wi-fi was down. It has only been twice in 10 months so not a big deal, just a minor annoyance for a couple of days. But it does make me wonder if AT&T is making changes to disallow the usage when it happens.I Have Spoken said:
I chat with them, and they "refresh my connection", and it works again for a few days. They stated it is due to changes from AT&T, and they are working on a permanent fix.
Ouch. My ebay $50 plan hasn't budged yet. (knock on wood). Speeds went down to unusable, 0.01 up, but a quick reboot of the modem had me at acceptable speeds again.TravelAg2004 said:
New plans just got released from OTR. Looks like it's gone up to $80/month.
Not if you want AT&T service. They are switching to TMobile for their plans. If you are an existing customer then it will be $70/month with TMobile. If you want to keep AT&T it will be $90/month. I'd look elsewhere for AT&T based plans. I might try TMobile to test the speeds, but if I can't come close to AT&T then I'll find another provider.FAT SEXY said:
With these new rates is OTR still worth it?
Not according to the video above. Maybe the March renewal is still at $60, but I would suspect anything past will be $90 for those sticking with AT&T.Willie Lane said:
It looks like OTR is grandfathering in old plans through the legacy plan at $60 a month.
I hope so. I just switched from my CEO 6 down/ 3 up plan about a month ago. Right before the announced change wasn't yet explained. That would save me 15-20$ per month. I got the 90 day renewal plan. I almost went with a six month renewal. I sure hope they stick with AT&T on this, since I don't think there is a T-Mobile tower near me, unless T-Mobile also leases bandwidth from other carrier's towers. I get pretty good speeds, usually much better than with CEO, except during rare times when it must be really high demand.Willie Lane said:

I was just perusing the OTR site and did come across this Legacy Plan. Same price as before for those customers that signed up before the changes. I couldn't find what carrier this would be with, however.khkman22 said:Not according to the video above. For what it's worth, here is T-Mobile's own tool for coverage.Willie Lane said:
Any suggestions on how to check how good tmobile coverage would be in my location?
It's only faster if you're closer to the tower. The thing is, T-Mobile may have better 5G coverage, but that's only in the cities. Anybody who needs this service is generally rural, except for maybe the truck drivers that may be in the city where they could possibly benefit from 5G. But even RVers are going to be at least a little rural where there is likely no 5G. It really just depends on your location to a tower though. I'm .3 miles from an AT&T tower that is somewhat on a hill. I'm 3 miles from the T-Mobile tower that is down in a little valley and plenty of trees to block its signal. So there's no chance I'll have the same speeds with the new service.MaroonBloodedAg2010 said:
I got an email today from OTR saying they are introducing a new Blast plan for $70/month, but can't find any details on it. It sounds like it should be faster service. Anyone know any details on it?
There are other cheaper AT&T options rather than sticking around at $90/month.khkman22 said:
My electrical provider getting fiber to my house can't come soon enough. Of course now I wish I had prepaid a year in advance for OTR when I had the chance. I'll end up paying the $90/mo because T-Mobile coverage at my house is only fair and I doubt it would work for this purpose. My other option is to go back to the fixed wireless option that caps at 12 Mbps for $75/mo or 8 Mbps for $60/mo.

Here are other AT&T options or find one on Ebay like WheelinAg did:

It does seem that AT&T is knocking these services out now so they may not last.
