I've followed this thread for awhile now and SIAP but I subscribed to YT TV a few weeks ago with the anticipation of cutting Direct TV finally.
However I recently upgraded my suddenlink package to uncapped data and higher speed to avoid any billing surprises that could come with constant streaming of YT TV.
In the process I had to go switch out my modem at the local suddenlink branch to utilize the "upgrade".
I have a TCL roku tv and the remote broke awhile ago. So I have been unable to connect to wifi through the tv (as needed by the new wifi signal) until today in which I finally got a replacement TCL remote in the mail through amazon.
Then naturally I get YT TV finally fired up but the suddenlink speed is still around 50 mbps as opposed to the "400" I should be receiving which has led me to halt cutting the cord until the suddenlink tech comes out tomorrow to see why my connection is so slow. If this area in CS can't handle streaming at the appropriate speeds then this whole thing is for naught.
On top of that now my PS4 won't even connect to my suddenlink wifi because it's now running at 17 mbps after their over the phone two resets today.
I explain all of the above current nightmare to ask this: does anybody use Nitro IPTV? The suddenlink tech support guy on the phone recommended it to me but said he couldn't really talk about it but kind of whispered "you sound tech savvy and will love it. Trust me. It's way better than YouTube TV". I'm obviously not that tech savvy or I wouldn't be in this mess but I went to this site
https://iptvnitro.com/nitro-iptv-subscription-prices/ and it looks kind of shady.
Knowing my luck I'll cancel directv tomorrow AND YT TV while signing up for this nitro bit and having it not work half the time and/or missing all of the channels I needed with YT TV.
T&P's and any insight on Nitro would be greatly appreciated. It's a serious **** show over here currently. Oh, and I got a new wireless Sony soundbar a couple of weeks ago which suddenly doesn't want to connect either as of the past couple of days. FML>
