As far as hunting down settlers, can't you craft and ring a bell to gather your settlers for assignments?

quote:After you hunt them down... ya this works. The problem is having to go looking for them wandering around the area so the bell would solve that.
Also, just found this reddit thread that had the below:
- To assign settlers select them in the crafting screen then select the object you want them to work
quote:Doh, I misread the bullet. Was thinking there was a section I was missing that allowed me to view a list of settlers.

quote:How do you have 93 mini nukes... I'm level 18 and have gotten to the quest after getting to Diamond City and still only have 3.
Found some sort of beefed up Fat Man in a legendary mutt that I killed. Very random.

quote:THIS!! This is what I meant. I know you can ring a bell. Tried it a while back. In a place like sanctuary it took 2 and half minutes for everyone to get there.quote:Doh, I misread the bullet. Was thinking there was a section I was missing that allowed me to view a list of settlers.

quote:"about a .5 second window".... ya that ain't happening for me. I suck with "precise timing" in this game.
That's the one, where you grab it from them.
quote:You would not believe how many times I have missed in VATS with a fatboy. especially if the target is elevated like on a walkway or bridge. Sails right by and detonates in the distance. Now I just manually aim at the ground in front of them and never long distance.
I find it odd that the nuke has an accuracy rating. It should just say "Who cares? It's a nuke"

quote:Only time I used the Fat Man was probably a waste, I had spent a fair bit of time trying to clear Corvega at like level 5. Wasn't overly difficult but I was taking it very slow and deliberate, hiding from enemies and letting it go back to hidden status in between encounters. I had somehow gotten into the second floor then onto the roof without an encounter inside so when I cam back in from the roof to clear the interior I wasn't expecting about 5 raiders plus a machine gun turret in the front room.... after 3 reloads and not being able to get an angle on the turret before it waxed me, I just pulled out the Fat Man ... let the turret spot me so that the 3 raiders in the next room would swarm out the door then just lit it up. I managed to get one of the raiders in the front room leaving only 1 other who I handled easily.
First time I used that gun was vs that Sarge bot in old guns. He absolutely wrecked me when I tried killing him with my combats rifle. Remember I picked up the fat boy so I left and retrieved it from my work bench. When I came back I ran into the room nukes loaded and let it rip. Complete underestimated the power as my limbs came flying off from the explosion. Thank god for aurosave!

2 - A Satellite field all the way on the eastern edge of the map for a Brotherhood of Steel mission. There are a few super mutants there with a skull (one a suicide type), plus a legendary mutant hound. These guys have just ripped me apart. What level are they for the skulls to finally go away? Didn't think that this was that far into the BoS mission series...
quote:Wow.. think I'm sitting at only 8 full fusion cores and 2 that are nearly depleted. Is there anyway to recharge those things?quote:I have 3 as well and am NOT wasting them I am back up to over 30 fusion core now after hunting them down!quote:How do you have 93 mini nukes... quote:Well, the skulls for some of those guys don't go away at level 18, so it'll be awhile. I'll try again at level 20.quote:

Yep, I took one look at the when I was level 11 or so and decided to finish a different quest.

What does a skull by the enemy life bar mean? Too tough for you right now?

No way to recharge cores. I have read though that selling a partially charged core gets enough caps to buy a new one. I don't know though since I haven't made it to town and dealt with any vendors yet.

quote:400-500 caps to buy a new one and they sell for ~75 caps regardless of how much charge is left so ~10% left sells for same as 100% left.

quote:I don't think you are more detectable. Also there is an upgrade mod for armor that makes you even more undetectable IIRC.
I've got a question on power armor.
Being a ninja/sniper logic is that being in power armor would make you more detectable. Is that true?
I really haven't been using power armor since my goal is to stay hidden and hit from as far away as possible.
