The Cowboys hear value by the the 25th DT in a late rounds while drafting an RB and QB in the first two rounds.

The Cowboys' all-in mantra is back, baby. Jerry Jones isn't going to sit on his hands and watch the NFC East run away from him, so he trades two first-rounders (this year's and next year's) for Myles Garrett, while the Browns get a new centerpiece for their offense. It would take some creative salary cap maneuvering for Dallas to make it happen, but Micah Parsons has already said he'd take less if it meant he would get to play opposite Garrett.
In other news, PFF projects Osa Odighizuwa's free agent projected contract at....4/$85m! Yowzers. pic.twitter.com/pGfROHCmtx

Isnt it upside down because of how many contracts Jerry has kicked down the road from years past? I think Zeke was being around $8 million in 2024 prior to him even playing for the team so Jerry decided to sign him to a $2 million deal because value! I could be wrong on all this but Jerry has done this for years with Romo, Jaylon Smith, Gallup, Zeke, numerous OL, and others.jr15aggie said:
Tell me about it! I heard something the other day that Philly has more cap room than Dallas. How... just how. And it's not all on Dak making 60 mil per year because Philly is paying Hurts 50. And it's not CD making 34 cause AJ Brown is making 32.
How are we completely upside down on the cap and we have guys like Micah, Daron Bland, Tyler Smith, etc. that are still on their rookie deals. I haven't done a full roster breakdown of cap spending, dead money, etc... it's just mind boggling how it appears Dallas keeps giving money to the wrong people!!!
And as I type this, I'm reminded that we probably still have dead cap money next year for Michael Gallup.

Eagles vs Cowboys - both set up 4 void years on QB1's huge contracts. Eagles have used it so their QB has a tiny% of '24/'25 cap. Cowboys have it still sitting empty and show Dak counting $90m. These are 100% elective decisions by each team, so don't let the propaganda fool you. pic.twitter.com/2GGD1p1Me5
