Keep in mind that Philly has also had a weaker schedule than Dallas at this point. I definitely agree that they are a better team overall, but i don't think it's a gulf. Dallas is a good team. We can beat those guys.jr15aggie said:DannyDuberstein said:

Also similar in that when you get off to such a great start, it makes you really hard to catch unless the wheels fall off. Dallas is probably competing for a wild card at this point. Thing about Philly, though, is that they lost two BIG pieces of their team for the season. We probably won't catch them, but they are less of a threat than they were 2 weeks ago.

If you think Jerry is going to help any kneeling SOB who started this whole charade you don't know Jerry.
Jerry will sit there in court and tell whoever asks Kap didn't get signed cuz he sucks. and he will make sure it gets publicized too.
I think Jerry's ultimate plan here is just to defer this thing until next year and use the entire screwed up process + Goodell mishandling kneelgate to make sure Goodell is gone (thats already in the works) and then continue to challenge the Zeke thing on the basis that Goodell was unfit as Commish and overstepped his bounds.
If you think Jerry ever relents or compromises....again you don't know Jerry.

Orlando - once the 2nd Appellate Court rules on the injunction, we will then know whether he is able to play for the remainder of the year or start his suspension.
If they agree it could cause irreparable harm and the injunction remains in place till the case can be heard, then his case will fall into their normal schedule which would put it somewhere into early 2018.
In addition to irreparable harm, he also has to show likelihood of success on the merits. That's the hard one

Actually it seems more likely that some stuff did happen, especially considering all the other poor decisions Zeke has made.

I think you are confused on multiple issues here. The question is no longer whether he did what he was accused of. It is a bit stupid to act like there is no way he did it, considering all the other poor choices he has made, and there's a lot of smoke for there to be no fire.
The appeals process is about how the NFL proceeded. The guy I was responding to seemed to think Elliot is completely innocent and that's all that matters.
