You are either a troll or just don't know anything about the Cowboys this season. How about that win in Seattle? How about being undefeated on the road? How about Romo having the highest passer rating, completion percentage, and yards/attempt in the NFL right now? How about the Cowboys having the best offensive line and the NFL leading rusher. How about Dez leading all WRs in TDs?

But sure dude, they got lucky.
Dismantled the Colts, too.

People like 2nd Gen never actually watch Romo and the Cowboys. They just watch others in the media spewing the narrative about them/him.

In my opinion QBs closer to hall of fame than Romo that are currently active:

Tom Brady
Peyton Manning
Drew Brees
Aaron Rodgers
Ben Roethlisberger
Russell Wilson
Eli Manning
Joe Flacco
That is 25% of the NFL above

And, look at the young guys:
Andrew Luck is blowing away Romo's numbers (again because of NFL rule changes),
Nick Foles - if he wasn't hurt, chances are Dallas doesn't even make the playoffs.

Dallas got really lucky this year. The Giants were terrible. The Redskins were terrible. And the Eagles lost their starting QB.

Why is a perennial 8-8 player even being considered?

Wilson, Eli, FLACCO!? Thanks for the lols

You mean super bowl winning Flacco? Super bowl winning Wilson? Does Wilson have Dez Bryant?

Do you really think Russell Wilson will only have one Super Bowl title? Let's check after his 9th year starting. Oh wait, he already has two division titles.

By the way, i live in Dallas and have since 1987. I have watched the Cowboys.

Romo has had a great season. Dez Bryant should be mentioned in the HOF category. And their MVP running back has made their season.

I'm pretty sure he's referencing the fact that neither has had the career Romo has. Yes, they both have rings and I think just about everybody agrees Romo doesn't sniff the HOF w/out a ring.... but those 2 guys have yet to prove they can be an elite QB for as long as Romo has. No amount of arguing will fix that, we simply have to wait and see how their careers turn out. IMO Flacco still has a lot to prove, but Wilson has the overall skill set to back up his ring and he'll get in when it's all said and done.

BTW... put Romo on the teams Flacco and Wilson have had and he's got his ring.

If Romo had that defense Flacco had, he would have more than one ring. Flacco is not very good.

Romo choked away the playoff games. Not his defense

"I have watched the Cowboys" does not equal "I watch the Cowboys regularly".

You clearly do not. You have zero credibility on the subject.

So we give winners all the credit for the teams success - Wilson and Flacco- and others get all the blame when it goes bad for the team- Romo? Ok got it.

Flacco had a great playoff run but I'd be shocked if more than 3-4 NFL GM's said they wanted Flacco over Romo right now.

Wilson has been called a great game manager by many in the media. He had a fantastic defense and powerful running game last year. He's not exactly putting the team on his back and carrying them to victory every week.

Until Dallas established a running game this season, it's been all on Romo's shoulders the past few seasons. The fact they were able to scratch out 8 wins says more about him than not.

What? Are you out of your mind?

So Crayton has a critical drop in the 2nd half that would have been a huge gain, possibly a TD. He also, on the potential game winning drive, stops his go route and the ball was thrown perfectly into the end zone.

The game against Minn was a a meltdown by the OL and defense.

So tell me again how he 'choked' those games away?

Dont forget Owens had a big drop as well. Not to mention the D giving up an inexplicable scoring drive in a matter of seconds to close out the first half which really put the Cowboys O in a bind.

Does no one remember that Jason Witten had the first down before they wrongly reviewed and brought the ball back?

the new offensive line has made Romo a vastly better quarterback. He can now sit in the pocket for 5-6 seconds at a time and wait for things to come open.

I saw Peyton throw 4 picks against Cincy the other night. The difference between him and Romo is you didn't see it blasted all over the headlines about how Peyton choked away a game to clinch a bye.

We desperately need to win a game or two in the playoffs. I would absolutely love to see Romo at least compete for a NFL championship. But they got a tough draw on who they'll have to go through to get there.

What about the 34 points the defense gave up vs Minnesota? What about Patrick Crayton dropping a wide open first down that would have sealed the game for them in 07 vs the giants?

Good day

Romo was an undrafted free agent making his first playoff start. Oh and btw it later came out that Seattle gave him a slick ball on purpose.

Troll or doesn't watch the cowboys.

The NFL hall of fame selection is not really based on stats like MLB is. It's an "eye test" kind of thing. A gut feel. And Romo does not have that yet. He may get there, but he's going to have to have some playoff success, and perhaps even win a Superbowl to overcome the reputation he has of throwing interceptions at inopportune times, in spite of leading the Cowboys to tons of game winning drives. The interceptions stand out more in peoples' minds.
