Well, the Senate is pretty much firmly against Trump now saying the budget reconciliation bill is going nowhere due to this issue. I'm not sure I care about this fund one way or the other but it will be politically stupid for Trump to die on this hill if he decides to play chicken with the Senate on it. Thune is already effectively a traitorous Democrat in my book and hates Trump. Rest of Senate is pissed at Trump because he didn't endorse Cornyn.

I don't blame Trump or others for receiving compensation/justice and I prefer this over Trump getting it all just because he has the money/power to go after restitution.
