So did the J6 that were convicted. How about them?

Based on what I read the J6 pardons (which by SC ruling is an admission of guilt to accept) can sue the government. It's in the plan.

You didn't bring it up but we can't really debate the merit of this "plan" so discussing that reality...

You can hate Trump and still agree the DOJ was out of line. Pete the Cheat and Ugly Lisa were out of line. The FBI and DOJ protecting them by refusing to comply with FOIA was out of line. You have to agree that the fbi shouldn't be able to refuse to turn over texts because it might embarrass them

I am 100% fired up about lying to commit fraud in all forms. Biden included. You are not!

I wasn't defending his actions. I was only highlighting that, based on DOJ prosecution records, the combination of these two offenses to make a felony happened about 3x in US history to Cartel kingpins.

But he just happened to deal with this felony?

How about all the pardoned people from J6 including those that beat police, are they not real criminals?

By law, they all acknowledged their actions by accepting pardons in 1/25. So what about them?

Eligible?

How do you know I am not? I am consistent. I also don't care that Biden pardoned his son because we give presidents that power. I may not agree with it but it's hypocritical to not say anything about Biden pardon and say something about Trumps. I don't say anything about either. I think Hunter was wrong for lying on a gun application considering his dad and other pole smoking libs want gun control but the pardon is allowed so no skin off my back.

Those that beat police should have been in jail but pardons happen. See my post above.

Now the pearl clutching about cops dying that day should stop but the hitting and OV spraying police should have been charged to the max.

I hate this settlement. AI summary of the deets:

The Justice Department established a $1.776 billion "Anti-Weaponization Fund" as part of a settlement to end President Trump's $10 billion lawsuit against the IRS. Under the agreement, Trump and his family dropped the lawsuit in exchange for the new fund, which will compensate individuals who claim they were victims of government weaponization. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

The settlement and its fund details are as follows:
  • No Direct Payout to Trump: While President Trump and the Trump Organization formally dismissed their lawsuit, they will receive a formal apology but "no monetary payment or damages of any kind" from the fund.
  • The "Anti-Weaponization Fund": The U.S. Treasury will deposit $1.776 billiona deliberate nod to the year of America's foundinginto a special DOJ account to process claims. The fund is empowered to issue formal apologies and monetary relief to qualifying claimants.
  • Fund Oversight: The fund will be directed by a commission of five members appointed by the Attorney General, along with a sixth member selected in consultation with congressional leadership. President Trump retains the discretion to remove any member of the commission.
  • The Originating Lawsuit: The underlying dispute stems from a 2023 case where a former IRS contractor pleaded guilty to leaking tax information belonging to Trump and thousands of other wealthy Americans.
  • Political & Legal Backlash: The settlement immediately faced intense backlash from Democratic lawmakers and watchdog groups. Critics have condemned the $1.776 billion figure as a "slush fund" or "racket," expressing concern that taxpayer dollars could be directed to Trump's political allies, including individuals prosecuted for their involvement in the January 6, 2021 Capitol riot. I still can't believe how willingly the Tea Party Republicans abandoned everything they claimed to hold dear and bent the knee to a billionaire from NYC. Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined they would be lining up to applaud a $1.7 trillion transfer of wealth from middle class taxpayers to the president, to be handed out to whomever he deems worthy or needs a favor from.

Really light compared to the $85 billion of military equipment Biden handed over to the Taliban.

Or the $150 billion in cash President Obama gave the Iranian regime that was used in part to kill American citizens.

So in conclusion, Trump sued himself three times, his own lawyer (Todd Blanch) settled the claims, taxpayers appear to be paying it, his hand picked commission selects who collects. And the money can flow to January 6 rioters. So it's being sold as fixing weaponization but it is, in fact, weaponization.

The level of contortion that MAGA can do to explain away trumps fraud is impressive!

What fraud, please be specific with documentation and references.

But, but, but Biden......but, but, but Obama.....But, but, but Bush...But, but, but Trump.

I think I got the hang of how and why people support anything their side does, while crucifying the other side for doing the same thing (broadly getting insanely rich while in office).

Which is why I don't vote.

  • Trump's $6.2 billion net worth is down from a record $7.3 billion in September.

What's wrong is the 5 person committee comprised of Trump lackeys who will secretly distribute 1.7 billion of tax dollars with no accountability or public disclosure of where the funds went.

Looks like his net worth shot up over $1.1 Billion from January to September 2025, but then returned back to January levels when his crypto value plummeted.

But I also think that politicians report very little of the net worth they actually have, so I don't believe anything they publish.

This is frankly the most openly corrupt thing ever done in American history and it's just happening. Just depressing the level of corruption in this administration and cult followers celebrate it. This is what the real decline of America looks like. "But he doesn't take a salary". He just dumps crypto scams, hides oil money from Venezuela in Qatar (selling the oil to donor traders from Vitol), now he just take 1.8B from the IRS, no bid contracts for labor, the privately funded ballroom that taxpayers need to pay for now, his stock trading (but Nancy Pelosi!), the insiders trading his announcements before he posts, and this disaster of a war. Honestly, you have to be a mindless cult follower to believe any of this is good for America. If only this wasn't so ****ing predictable.
