2027 Dexter (MI) tight end Holden Niemi commits to Texas A&M
Texas A&M has an addition to their 2027 recruiting class today as Dexter (MI) TE Holden Niemi has announced his commitment to the Aggies.
The first high school pledge for coach Derek Shay since arriving in College Station, the 6-foot-5, 220-pounder becomes the 15th verbal pledge this cycle.
Niemi picked up an offer from A&M back in January and has continued to draw high-level P4 interest throughout the course of the year. It’s easy to see why when you combine his intriguing frame with his advanced athletic skillset. There’s an evident basketball background while watching the football tape. He’s a fluid runner and a natural pass catcher. Niemi is broad-shouldered and slender with plenty of room to add the requisite weight and strength to make an impact at the line of scrimmage.
Niemi is one of the top offensive prospects in the Midwest and chooses Texas A&M over offers from Indiana, Michigan, Alabama, Miami, Florida, Georgia and several others.
