Thanks to globalization, I wonder how many countries are left without Muslims seething underneath the yoke of freedom. Japan? China technically, but they subjugated their Muslims.

So now this is a war. We started a war with Iran without preparing or receiving support from EU and Gulf Coast countries. We were not prepared for what Iran is doing or we were so arrogant we thought everybody would just join plus afterwards and this would be like Venezuela.

I'm more convinced the best thing Trump can do is declare victory tomorrow morning. Regime change wasnt one of the 4 objectives. So this still allows him to claim victory and Iran to claim victory. Fighting stops economic distraction stops.

Smart

Not, your takes are crap

WTF kind of help can EU bring?

Yeah lets tell everyone we are going to attack Iran, so they can turn around and leak it to them

Also the UK said they would send an aircraft carrier or two, Trump said no thanks, UK is still preparing one for deployment regardless. France has a carrier in the Mediterranean. UK and Spain caved and are letting us use bases in their countries. Germany has shown their support since the beginning.

Qatar kicking out Hamas leadership. Syrian President going against Hezbollah. Pakistan sending 30k troops to Iran border. Saudi Arabia and UAE supports us

But yeah they didn't fall in line, derp. WRONG

It MUST not be over until the Islamic Republic regime is destroyed and out of power and a replacement form of govt is decided that is not an enemy to the US.

I agree there should be an entire Regime change, but do not see how that happens without boots on the ground? The IRGC can just wait us out if it is only an air war. Someone's going to have to put boots on the ground eventually. It should be the Iranian people themselves, but they need to be armed and armed fast while the regime is weakened.

I agree with this. Need to provide arms support to the local people.

We have 5 Destroyers I read, with the Gerald Ford CSG. The brits have zero so have to ask the French for one to help, if they even deploy a carrier. I'm not a navy type but that speaks volumes to real capacity, imho, and neither Euro carrier is close (within 20-40 percent) to the size/combat capacity of a US CVN.

History has shown this gets ugly. Bad hombres sometimes get the weapons. And the country enters into a long civil war where are dragged in. They rebuild, bomb then again. They rebuild again, well then bomb them again.

ETA. The problem is air power has never led to regime change that I can think of. Yes we took out the leader in Iran but the entire apparatus is still there with his son now in charge who appears to be at least as hardline as dear old dad.

Things change. Lots of lessons learned from not just the forever wars but most recently and most impact fully the lessons learned in the Ukraine.

There will no mass deployment of troops. Hell, we can use various drones vs soldiers to continue hunting bad guys. Remember the Hamas dude waving his pimp stick whilst the drone chased him around his crib?

No, this will be lots more bombs until morale of the IGRC and remaining regime improves.

Trump and Pete has this.

If he is still breathing he needs to be taken out, based on all of that you don't want a living martyr dead set on revenge leading Iran.

You leave him, and the IRGC, with all of that oil money flowing and they will be up and running again soon. Money and guns keep regimes in power and as long as they have that we will be back where we started.

The WH is arguing its was time to strike Iran because they were a weakened target. At the same time Trump is arguing he had to strike bc Iran was also on the verge of "taking over the entire ME".

I really hope Trump finds an offramp soon and throws Bibi under the bus. There is nothing the terrorists want more than dragging the US into a messy, expensive drawn out conflict.

If you like Trump and MAGA you shouldn't support things that are likely to totally undermine the "America First" movement. F16 feeling obligated to support this war is like the LGBTs supporting transing the kids. Both feel like they are supporting their team, but its really counterproductive and ultimately the wrong hill to die on.

Russia and China are the biggest winners. It may seem like Trump is winning now, but it can only get worse as more money and blood is expended.

Well, Trump has always been Putins puppet so it makes sense for him to do this headfake that ultimately kills the US and enriches Russia then he can have all the hookers he wants piss on him at his Moscow palace.

Then Hunter re-emerges as the head of the Western Chinese American States. It all makes so much more sense now.

Definitely should have waited to see if Iran was bluffing on their nuke intentions.
