Maybe you saw a different video than me or it needs more context leading up to this, but that short clip did not look good for Bondi.

She seemed like the one interrupting and slinging mud rather than participating in the hearing.

Ol' Depends Jerry rambled on for over 4 minutes to ask his "question" and she got 5 words into her response before he interrupted her. I agree that these things are just a charade for soundbite farming, but there was no reason to not tell him and Ratskin to go F themselves in this case.

She did get Don Lemon arrested for raiding a church.

Not enough, but that is something. He's hiding behind all his tribalism BS and his press badge, but DOJ is not having anything about it.

In the mean time, Homan is quietly arresting scores of protestors in MN, and Bondi is bringing federal charges against Antifa protestors that threaten ICE on the internet.

It's not her fault that the MSM isn't reporting on what she is up to.

Nader posed a very long, convoluted question, and asked for a yes or no answer only. It's the strategy de jour of the Dem party right now. Ask a stupid question that has a stupid premise, ask for a yes or no answer only, and then claim that the witness declined to answer when the witness attacks the premise.

These hearings have become unserious, and Bondi is treating them with the amount of gravity that they deserve, which, at this point, is pretty much zero.

I think there's a fundamental misunderstanding on this board about how glacially slow the justice process works for everyone all the time by its nature. Nothing happens quickly because it is designed not to. It's procedural, bureaucratic, requires all the steps be done. There is little opportunity to expedite, and it is an amalgam of government at different levels and both the executive and judicial branches involved in the process. If you rush things, you make mistakes or go in unprepared and you lose winnable prosecutions. It is of course incredibly annoying and frustrating but that's the reality. Throwing a tantrum on the Internet every other day does nothing to change that.

Took 8 years or such to finally get Elizabeth Smart's abduction to a conviction. 8 years.

If you watch enough Dateline and similar, you will notice that any case not insanely open and shut often drag on for years… many years.

Yep, there was some black congresslady questioning someone I think from CBP yesterday and basically asked the guy if he thought he was going to Heaven or hell. I mean WTF kind of question is that. Then she acted all offended and "I reclaim my time" crap when he started to answer.

The Epstein thing is a tragedy. I honestly believe that had Bondi blown the top off of the Epstein thing, she would be dead. Just too many people from all sides in on that game, including the FBI and CIA.

I am pretty happy with the Fulton County raid that happened last week. We need some hard to ignore charges against a corrupt system that has the judiciary in their pocket. We don't need another round of bad prosecutors like Giuliani messing things up by moving too quickly.

I am not sure what charges you are going to bring against whom on the illegal immigration issue. It's pretty cool that illegal immigration is close to zero right now. On that front, the DOJ is doing an EXCELLENT job in the appeals courts, even if the cooked district courts are fighting tooth and nail to keep the illegal immigration going. Check out the legal battles thread for more details.

In an ideal world, most of DC would be in prison, but, let's not make the perfect the enemy of the good.

If Bondi can get some convictions against SOME Somalian day care workers, MN protestors, and Fulton county and Maricopa country election officials, she would have accomplished more against corruption than anyone in the AG role for a very, very long time.

Who would you hold out as the proper standard to measure her performance against, and what did he/she accomplish?

As AG, she is the head of the DOJ. The DOJ is doing exceedingly great work.

I think a lot of this is just unrealistic expectations. She's the AG, not Elliot Ness.
