This. She was trying to drive off in his general direction and he ended up directly in front of her. He couldn't have seen her wheels, and he was already drawn and focused on his target by the time her wheels were hard right. From his perspective in the limited time he had, she was going to try to run him down.

I frankly don't even think she saw him. She was likely focused on the agent at her driver side window. She freaked out because she didn't want to get arrested. Floored it but the car didn't go. Saw the agent on her bumper and then turned the wheel.
ICE agent had to make a split second decision and was in fear of his life so he shot her. He's already been drug by some moron in a car prior. And as an ICE agent constantly under pressure by idiot protestors harassing them daily.
This is very plausible. Lesson being don't go into a hot zone to be a "warrior" against a federal agency conducting operations without knowing both the law and the stakes. Some common sense helps too.
I really hope the CHAZ and summer of love movements gets kicked back up again. ISIS was a great movement too. Peaceful citizens in the Middle East cutting heads off of people and posting videos of other people being burned alive. I have yet to see a cogent explanation from the American left on why we should have open borders immigration. All we have seen is an argument claiming they are enforcing border law while at the same time proclaiming all forms of immigration are acceptable and beneficial regardless of "minor" negative outcomes.
The strongest case for open borders…at least the most honest approach…comes from the libertarians. But even they tend to gloss over the negative impacts the mass acceptance of unvetted, undocumented, ignorant and often criminal third world thugs have on our nation and its resources.
