Not a MAGA hat and likely refused to take it off when asked to do so by the flight attendant.

That is more than enough of a reason to ask him to leave the aircraft. Airlines, other than Spirit, have little tolerance for dumbassary by passengers.

Except what an earlier poster said. If it had been an LBGTQT whatever nothing would have happened so you're incorrect.

I know you just have to argue with me because of how much you hate my guts for not worshiping Trump, but if the shirt had said something like "I Support Trans Kids" then no, the person would not be kicked off the flight, nor should he have been.

If the shirt had said "**** Transphobia" then he would have been booted because the shirt had a profanity.

Oh my didn't mean to trigger you. Just disagreeing with you. Get help.

Take off the damn hat already. A flight is neither the time or place to make a political statement.

Unless you're wanting to trigger lib passengers, don't wear something like that on a flight. Sad but it's the world we live in.

Just wear something without vulgarities on it. It's trashy.

Agreed

I can see both sides of it. Did the hat offend some snowflake who complained originally and that's why the flight attendant initially asked him to remove it during the flight? The airline's right of course to do that and remove him for not complying but he was right in a point he made that if he was offended by something on a shirt or hat from another passenger and asked that they be removed, then where does it end? People don't have an inalienable right to not be offended.

On the flipside, Delta is a private business and can do what they want to keep a flight drama free and is violating no free speech rights or anything like that by asking him to put the hat away.

Had to laugh when he started pulling the "I know people" card at the end of the video.

A political statement is fine. I see people flying in maga hats and other things. The vulgarity is what got him and should have.

We just had a whole thread on the Football board recently of folks that said using vulgar language in the stands at Kyle field is ok because we need to change our culture and let our opponents and opponents fans know we are bad and not nice anymore. It's even supposedly going to help us win games.
So I guess we can't have "ass" on a cap but it's ok to use much worse words in front of our kids at Kyle cause "my kids hear the same at school"…has been the justification by some.
We are a society eat up with hypocrisy.

I remember from the 70's a chant when we played Rice went something like this.

Riggledy riggledy riggledy rass,
What comes out of a Chinamans ass
Rice, Rice, Rice

Pretty insensitive by today standards, but half the stadium was chanting it then.

2. TexAgs doesn't filter ass
3. Therefore, ass isn't profanity.

Flying is not a right and companies can put all sorts of rules to use their business. I would bet there are all sort of rules on the purchase of a ticket that a customer agrees to that he is aware.

Agreed, it is.

Unfortunately, over the past decade or so, there's too many who do things like this just to get a rise out of people so they can post it on social media for their followers to give them the clicks and likes.

Attention whoors gotta get their attention somehow.

TexAgs really does have some DAMN strange profanity filters when the Auto board can't even use the short version of transmission.

As to what others have stated the profanity/vulgarity on the cap is what got him. Take the cap off and stay on the plane.

Yes. In the Bible it is used in reference to a 4-legged beast of burden -- Not vulgar or profane
On the cap it is a pejorative for a part of the human anatomy -- vulgar

Then I guess Tobie Keith's song should never have reached #1. Should have been censured, rated X
For " We'll put a boot up your ass, It's the American way".
Horrible.

I haven't watched the video, but did note the pinky ring, not that there's anything wrong with that I reckon.

Biden is a Dem. Dem symbol is s donkey. Ass is historically a word for Donkey or Burro. So you can also interpret it in true context as Build Back Better my Donkey (AKA: ass). See..it's not a bad word anymore.
Gunny456

Yes. We aren't discussing the F word though. That song used ass which apparently offends snowflakes and democrats.

Lefitsts should love that the guy is wearing a hat that says 'ass'. Their politicians like Newsome and Swallwell are all about dropping profanity now to make themselves seem like the everyman.

Let's be perfectly honest here. What if the cap would have been red and white and said "Build Back Better my Donkey on it?
It would trigger the same reactions for many folks and we all know it.
Quit trying to hide behind the word as the cause.

The fact that we can freely use the word "ass" on this platform shows it's not vulgar.

Makes you wonder if his cap read "Trump can kiss my ass!" If he would have been removed. Something tells me he wouldn't.
