Welsh - "I was just made aware of this yesterday" His recorded conversation was at least 3 weeks ago and HE DID NOTHING except belittle the student and defend the lecturer and curriculum.

Several other lies that DEI was not going to be allowed and yet it constantly is a problem under him.

I realize you don't care since it is your religion, but the rest of us are tired of him constantly defending and pushing DEI BS and then lying about it.

Here is my letter to the Chancellor.

Dear Chancellor Hegar:

It is with great disappointment I am writing to urge you to encourage Gen. Welsh to resign. This latest issue paints him in a lackluster light; he appears to not only lack integrity but defensive of an illegal and some say immoral position.

Regardless of whether we agree or not, it is time to "read the room" and Aggies everywhere are sick and tired of the divisive liberalism and abject lies consistently proffered by our current and former Presidents. Our friends on the left cannot seem to help themself, despite clear direction to hold in check their totalitarian views.

Some might say it is embarrassing that we have had two failed presidencies in short order. I agree, a far better job vetting the presidential candidates should have occurred. That responsibility falls on the BOR. In order to right the ship, I would respectfully suggest you contact Dr. Bowen Loftin and request his immediate return as President. This will calm the storm squalls but most importantly allow legitimate leadership that adheres to our values. With Dr. Loftin as President, allow him to influence the choice for his replacement; this should result in continuity of leadership and begin the restoration of our reputation nationally and globally. I am pulling for YOU.

He had a conversation with a student about this issue weeks ago and belittled her and her concerns. 2 days ago he released a statement to us claiming that "I just learned this afternoon" about this issue. Aggies don't lie, cheat, or steal nor tolerate those who do. If we let him stay as president of the university, we are tolerating a man who lied to our face. Whatever else he does to try to save his job is window dressing. He lied. Deliberately. To every Aggie. Knowingly. Intentionally. How can we allow that to stand?

We can't. If a student can get thrown out for lying surely the president should too. We have values we must stand up for.

Um, Super-Woke Welsh confirmed that the course material and the syllabus were out of line enough that it justified firing the professor, and calling for a full audit from every college in the University to make sure that course descriptions are accurate, so, yeah, I think the above is pretty much debunked.
