I thought it was a good question. I want to know where Z's head is at. Making him answer a question that is so black and white allows Z to provide an answer that falls closer to one end of that spectrum (giving land) or the other (sending kids to their death). I was fine with Z's reply.

Russia has not changed its demands, nor should they. They won, they get to dictate what Zelensky is going to swallow, or else they will continue to slowly take more until Zelensky says uncle. Which looks like is happening.
