Can Trump do the unthinkable? There will have to be some land concessions, but shouldn't be too many.

I know Trump loves playing the gracious host, but I do wish he'd keep that green goblin off the WH grounds moving forward.

Oh well, the wildcard is going to be if he bothers to show up in his suit and tie, or the casual clothes, again. He's started wearing a suit when meeting with some folks, this summer.

One of her conditions was no surrender of any Ukraine territory. Don't expect any nomination from Hillary.

As a decades-long war profiteer, and champion of bombing/killing/abandoning people to die in wars, the Clinton's are the last people who should be making any peace prize nominations. Baier shouldn't have even mentioned her troll to Trump, imho.

I am amazed by President Trump.

He is a whole generation older than I am. He holds the most stressful/important job in the world. And he works almost round the clock. How does he do that? I wouldn't be able to do that myself. He looks overweight, unlike the "in shape" Obama, but still he keeps going and going.

Today, following a conversation with President Trump, we further coordinated positions with European leaders. The positions are clear. A real peace must be achieved, one that will be lasting, not just another pause between Russian invasions.

Killings must stop as soon as possible, the fire must cease both on the battlefield and in the sky, as well as against our port infrastructure. All Ukrainian prisoners of war and civilians must be released, and the children abducted by Russia must be returned. Thousands of our people remain in captivity they all must be brought home. Pressure on Russia must be maintained while the aggression and occupation continue.

In my conversation with President Trump, I said that sanctions should be strengthened if there is no trilateral meeting or if Russia tries to evade an honest end to the war. Sanctions are an effective tool. Security must be guaranteed reliably and in the long term, with the involvement of both Europe and the U.S. All issues important to Ukraine must be discussed with Ukraine's participation, and no issue, particularly territorial ones, can be decided without Ukraine.

I thank our partners who are helping. Today, there is an important statement from European leaders that strengthens our position. We continue working together Europeans, Americans, and everyone in the world who wants peace and stability in international relations.

If Zelenskyy screws this up again, he needs to be cut off completely from US tax dollars & weapons. The American people are under no obligation to keep funding this war because Zelensky's puppet masters want to keep going and he does not want to give the Russian-speaking voters of eastern Ukraine what they want.

If you want Ukraine to cede land then yes, you are. If you're calling for regime change like some in this thread because the leader of the invaded country is somehow unreasonable because he won't roll over and let the Russianc advance unimpeded, you are.

Russia has expressed zero willingness to stop the invasion THEY started with anything but complete surrender, yet people think Zelensky is unreasonable.
