On one hand, Zelensky has acted and talked like he's Rambo every time he's on US soil, and it's about time he gets put in his place.

On the other hand, this is going to end up in Russia gaining soil, and Ukraine and Russia both with nukes. Lovely.

We should have spent $300Bn on covert missions to remove Putin and his ilk.

Using America's leverage to end this war is going to be popular with Americans. Trump saying crazy **** like Ukraine started the war, Zelensky is a dictator is just Trump using leverage. In this meeting, Trump and JD would have scolded Zelensky even if he was differential. They have to blow up Ukraines talking point, which only have any value because the US supports them.
