Helping to make Haiti great (finally) with Haitian-passport holders who are no longer allowed in the US, presumably well educated by America. PBS is very fake news, still.

Well, at least a driver's license with citizenship verified (i.e. Flor8da).

But you ignore the fact that this was a targeted enforcement action. She didn't get caught in a drag net. They were looking for her. hth.

FWIW, I was the Inspector-Instructor at the El Paso reserve unit about 25 years ago. I have plenty of personal experience with Marines marrying Mexican nationals and trying to make spousal immigration issues the Marine Corps' problem so this case doesn't really generate any sympathy from me for the deportee or her Marine husband. It is a shame for the kids but that is theor parents' fault.

The poster you quote does not care about facts, data, or logic.

And people are being deported to Liberia? I know that was an idea for some of yall 160 plus years ago….but come on….

That is as powerful and emotionally controlled of a statement and comments by an ordinary citizen as I have ever seen in one of these congressional meetings.

Thank you, Mr. Coleman. My thoughts and prayers are with you, your daughter and your family.

Damn...

THAT is the way you excoriate the left. Calm. Polite. While exposing the fact that the bad thing happened in your life EXPLICITLY due to their policies...

This has been threatened for something like 6 months. I am skeptical DHS actually does it as it would be enormously disruptive to air travel nationally (and, internationally). Shutting down any one of JFK, Ohare, LAX etc. would absolutely devastate airlines as well as passengers.

Come on, it's only nine airports that would be affected.

1. New York City (JFK, Newark, LaGuardia)
2. Los Angeles (LAX)
3. Chicago (O'Hare, Midway)
4. San Francisco (SFO)
5. Denver (DEN)
6. Philadelphia (PHL)
7. Seattle (SEA)
8. Newark (EWR)
9. Boston (BOS)

Yep, and it would be a political disaster with trips canceled/stranded pax/crew, massive losses for the airlines etc. Political malpractice to do it ahead of the midterms.

I like the intent of leaning on pro-illegal alien crime cities to change their policies of harboring fugitives but this plan doesn't pass the sniff test.

Shut it all down for the Kung pow sicken. Only after everyone returned from Chinese New Year, of course. Domestics still fly. Cut them off.

Couldn't even try it until after the midterms. Then he'll have two years of true lame duck time.

Stephen Miller... How can you NOT love this man!

Quote:

Brutal takedown of the journalism narrative.

CNN: "This is an undocumented immigrant..."

Miller: "Were they here ILLEGALLY?"

CNN: "I want this to be a good-faith discussion..."

Miller: "When you use language designed to hide the truth, THAT'S NOT good faith. An ILLEGAL ALIEN is an ILLEGAL ALIEN. They're not 'undocumented immigrants'."

CNN: "Stephen, we're trying to humanize the debate..."

Miller: "Humanize? Then let's humanize the Penal Code too. The bank robber becomes a 'specialist in no-appointment withdrawals'. The con artist turns into an 'entrepreneur of alternative financial narratives'. The guy who enters your home without an invitation is just a 'visitor with pending documentation'. How about that?"

CNN: "That's a crude analogy."

Miller: "Crude is pretending federal law vanishes because CNN's copy desk invented a prettier euphemism. 'Undocumented' sounds like someone who forgot their wallet in an Uber. No. It's someone who crossed the border without authorization, stayed, and now the press treats the legal statute like it's a matter of writing style."

CNN: "But many contribute to the economy..."

Miller: "Ah, the classic argument: crime stops being crime if the person washes dishes or builds roofs. By the same logic, the cigarette smuggler also 'contributes,' generates jobs in transportation. Want us to call him an 'informal logistics entrepreneur'? Does CNN sign up for that?"

CNN: "You're polarizing."

Miller: "No. I'm refusing to accept the marketing dictionary. They change the word, then accuse anyone using the legal term of being 'inhumane'. It's the oldest trick in the book: first they soften the vocabulary, then they declare moral victory. America is already sick of this theater. Call it by its name. Or admit the goal was never clarity it was narrative control.

Technically, that would be 12 airports.

Which, technically, makes me even happier.

Wait until the midterms are over and then put this policy into effect.

It would be mind-blowing as to how much well-deserved havoc this would cause in sanctuary cities.

I don't get why we don't see this activity on I35 between Sn Antonio and The border. No work of any crackdowns. Unless they just allow Mexican drivers to operate on this side. I know that Teamsters in Mexico will not allow American drivers to work there.

It is interesting that I have not seen nor heard of a single round up on any construction sites in the metroplex. And I visit numerous sites. Makes you think the red state business and government community are playing nice, for now

Anyone know the latest numbers for self deportation?

I know of one case where immigration attorneys were bleeding the client dry. Ultimately the attorney with shingle out front got disbarred as were several associates. The one that handled the case I know of and financed for a while, was disbarred in Texas and moved up north I'm sure to practice the same predatory practices there.
The immigrants are getting fleeced.
