I assume the wife is a US citizen and if she is the naturalization requirement to become a US citizen goes from 5 years to just 3 years. He could have become a US citizen 10 TIMES OVER but decided against it.

Commercials have run nonstop about deportations. Did she think Trump was joking?

I don't feel bad in the least. He husband has broken the law everyday for 30 years, and she aided and abetted and likely lied on many documents over that 30 years.

She can deport with him or report to jail.

Criminals are not worthy of mercy or sympathy.

You are not wrong. There is no justification to breaking the law and that to for 30 years so the "I didn't know" argument does not apply either.

How is he on the govt teat though? He probably does odd jobs to survive. Illegals don't get free money (in most cases)

I don't think he is dangerous either. We have a BIG problem and limited time, use resources better like on H1B scammers and financial crooks who cause long term damage.

Still gets free medical, wife can live off guv food .

I had a friend that worked for WIC. She signed everybody that came in. Her job was to figure a way to qualify everybody that walked in the door. The branch director was paid based on enrollment. Zero incentive to vet anyone. I'd bet the same is true for all programs

My wife worked there as an L&D nurse back in the mid 90's and it was the same back then and 99% did not have insurance and if they even got a bill they never paid. To this day she still knows some Spanish like "push" and "breathe" and other terms.

She now works at Frisco Baylor and no longer treats Hispanic mothers who can't speak English...they've been replaced with Indians. It's not as high a percentage as it was at Parkland but it's probably 70%. Most of them have insurance at least (thanks to our idiotic H1B practices over the last 30 years) so we're paying for it one way or another.

This could have gone in the Trump legal battles thread but mainly impacts deportations, so I wanted to note the huge win, authored by KBJ in a 9-0 opinion, limiting article 3 courts oversight/review of asylum findings by immigration courts.

So if someone is married 28 years and commits a crime we should just let him go? The whole premise is flawed. We separate families all the time when someone commits a crime. Sometimes for life.

I've seen a couple of videos similar to this lately where the boat is dead in the water prior to being hit and not sure anyone was even aboard at the time. I'm wondering if we are now giving the boat operators a warning to abandon ship prior to it being blown up. I haven't personally read anything, but seems odd compared to the initial videos where the boat was running wide open before being hit.
