Yes House, I stand corrected. He was a bulldog. Never forget him defending trumps 2 Supreme Court justices when they were getting railroaded

You mean railroaded like made up sex investigations that people that don't want Gaetz are buying? Sounds familiar

Also, again, easy to talk big but he had no part in getting anyone confirmed

Hopefully he goes after sanctuary city mayors and police chiefs for aiding and abetting.

So sorry you are "sick and tired". If you can't see what a useful idiot Gaetz is, I'm not sure what to tell you. I get you believe the main stream media is out to get the Trump fan boys, but you have to do so incredibly stupid sh** to be accused of trafficking minors.
How many times will some of you fall for the same playbook?

I'm still waiting on all the evidence that will prove Paxton is a criminal. And that Trump colluded with Russia.

So the House Ethics Committee was supposed to release their report on Gaetz in the next few days....but he resigned his seat yesterday. So now that he's no longer a member of Congress, per the committee rules the report can't be released. Hmm....

Yeah man. He was appointed AG of the United States of America so he could dodge an ethics report.

That's totally how things work in reality.

Such a bad choice. I mean damn, you've got better options than to try and waste time with this pick. Hire Trey Gowdy. Poor judgment imo. I'm shocked his chief of staff and family are on board with this bad decision.

How do you know this is a waste of time pick?

What makes Gaetz a bad option in general?

I mean…y'all can keep shelling out talking points that are nothing more than gaslighting, but it doesn't make your opinions valid…

He is majorly divisive and single handily almost wreaked the House with the bull**** he pulled. He's got baggage piled up around him. It'll be difficult for him to win over the senate with what he pulled.

So? How much of that "baggage" is made up bull**** because people don't want someone who isn't deep state/status quo actually cleaning **** up?

I'm still waiting for someone to post any actual evidence that Gaetz is a child sex trafficker…where's the evidence?

Both are meh.

Prostitution has always been around and should be legal. And we are stupid for infantilizing 17, 18, and 19 year olds. They are the backbone of our fighting forces and all throughout history have been married and bearing children.
There's a difference between a 21 year old interacting with a 17 year old, and a 30+ year old doing it.

Something about young love hooking up is understandable, whereas an older guy preying on an underage female is creepy and downright wrong.
Maybe but there has to a line drawn in the sand legally. I am perfectly fine with that being 17.

Edit: Just curious what age gap do you think is appropriate for a 17, 19, 21, or 25 year old?

17 year olds are children. Not legally but they're still children. It's gross and there are character issues for a man over the age of thirty being with one.

They are literally not children
What is legal, isn't always moral.
If you say you hate the state of politics in this nation and you don't get involved in it, you obviously don't hate the state of politics in this nation.

Better pull up a lounge chair and take a nap. They don't have any. If they did, Gaetz would have been gone long ago. At a minimum, something would have been released to the press.

Dude, teen age girls have been marrying older established men for 99.9999999999oo999% of all cultures in world history. In all likelihood the vast majority of relationships in the Bible were exactly like this.

It's generally considered taboo today but our current cultural perspective is the exception, not the norm.

With all due respect, you folks on the left have no ground to stand on when it comes to judging morality.

The moral degeneracy we've witnessed these last 4 years is quite literally Sodom level.

It's almost like people are completely blind to what has been going on in this county... Folks think lawfare and gaslighting is specific to the anti-Trump crowd? Think again...it is an epidemic that is plaguing this nation...

Again, just because you don't like someone, or they don't line up with your ideology, it doesn't make them a criminal...

Stop wish-casting things to be true that aren't...

Lol, he was investigated and cleared by Merrick Garland. But sure, the House is covering up a crime.

I don't care if it's a crime. I just wish he weren't a sorry-ass human being.
News Flash! Most of congress are sorry-ass human beings. Stop pretending their up there to fulfill some grand goal for the greater good. They are there for themselves.

And behind closed doors they all are fine with each other. What you see in public is all coordinated behind the scenes.

One thing I've learned from friends who have worked in DC "Washington is Hollywood for ugly people". Everything you see on TV and in public is an act. Nothing is done with out a rehearsal first.

Maybe this is Trumps way of helping the GOP get rid of Gaetz all together?

Resigns from Congress, special election to replace his safe GOP seat, doesn't get confirmed, DeSantis DOES NOT appoint him to replace Rubio but instead someone the GOP leaders want.
