When are people going to learn that you should never use absolutes when it comes to anything Trump?
As for Gaetz specifically, if he committed crimes or, at the very least, practiced unsavory behavior, where is the evidence?
Why is he all of a sudden guilty until proven innocent?
So far, his alleged misdeeds have no factual proof that has been put forth by either the DOJ or the House…
Like so many things they've tried to pin on Trump, the Gaetz stories have the appearance of gaslighting so far…
There's a reason several people are crying about Gaetz…is it because he's some awful person, or is it because he's a danger to exposing who these "leaders" really are?

In a world of the self-absorbed and self-interested, Gaetz stands out as someone who is willing to derail Republican initiatives to serve his own purpose: expunging an ethics investigation.
The results of that ethics investigation will continue and be forwarded to the Senate for review. The information the DoJ/FBI has in relation to his ties to sex trafficking will make its way to the Senate in similar fashion. He will be subject to extensive testimony and continual investigation. As he has to tell the truth, he will be in trouble from the git-go.
This appointment is the Sessions choice on steroids. But I don't believe he will ever be approved by the Senate.
The net benefit of this is he cannot hold the Trump agenda hostage in the House in order to save his ass from an ethics investigation.
For those of us in Florida, the bad news is we are probably going to see him run for governor.
As he is a young Joe Biden on the Republican side, there is no way in hell I will vote for him.

Poor choice by Trump on this one. Too much baggage. Too big of a mouth. Too emotional and too driven by vengeance. There are occasions when he acts and speaks like a child. Schmidt from Missouri is a serious player who knows and follows the constitution and would appear as a much more legitimate candidate than Gaetz. Several others should have been in front of the line of candidates. Not sure Gaetz will be confirmed.
Let's hope he isn't. It's a reckless choice.

I'm guessing Gaetz will be recess appointed. Then he possibly has 2 years as AG through the Senate's next term.
