Seeing where multiple Republican Senators speaking on condition of anonymity are saying he will never be approved, full stop.

I wonder if Trump knows this and will come in behind him with someone like Paxton who will then look like a solid compromise after the fact, though may have received a little resistance had he been the first nominee?

If I understand her right, I agree with her. What she means is that the house, if we win it, we will hold by a razor-thin margin.

Trump has now nominated three Republican house members for positions in his cabinet.

That leaves us absolutely zero room for error until the special elections can take place and then HOPEFULLY they will all be replaced by other Republicans.

Frankly, I think he is starting to play with fire here. Holding the house is EVERYTHING to implement his agenda.
I don't know who you are but you are very knowing here. I wish he had a few (only a few) more big picture/DC-type advisors to help him to make sure we don't risk a House majority. Gaetz confirmation hearings will almost surely be a big distraction and I'm unclear if there is big benefit to fight for him. It's a headscratcher.
