I was thinking that Todd Kress was highly pro-transexual, but it appears that he may just be dealing with a situation he didn't cause.
Kress did not recruit the player. It was Loyola Marymount University women's volleyball coach Trent Kersten who had formerly been at San Jose State University and recruited him.

The documents allege Manusky confronted head coach Todd Kress and currently-suspended assistant coach Melissa Batie-Smoose about the incident. Manusky claims she was crying as she begged them not to tell Fleming that she had come forward with the story. Kress is alleged to have told Batie-Smoose that he believed the story was not true.

Boise State went total badass last night and forfeited its spot in the semifinals of the Mountain West tournament vs SJSU. Third time this year Boise has refused to play vs a man.
Looks like this forfeit wil keep them out of the post season too?
Not to self... Get hired by some Podunk college for their women's volleyball coach. Recruit failed male athletes from across the country and offer them full scholarships (and paychecks) to play volleyball as women (identify only). Win national championship. Go on to bigger liberal university. Rinse and repeat.
That's what the Internet says. It's been 30 years since I worked at Rice University with their volleyball team, but not making it to the conference title game unless you are a top 10-15 team all year is a death knell for making the tourney.mm98 said:

There's a very real chance that they're going to play Colorado State - the #1 seed - and the team that the man conspired with to get her teammate crushed in the face by a kill earlier this year. CSU split a pair of matches with SJSU this year. THe other option is SDSU, which also beat SJSU once. The match in San DIego was interrupted a few times by rowdy fans and a protest group called "Save Women's Sports". Just glad that the Mountain West is really feeling the sting of this, having to cancel a tournament match that was supposed to be on TV, had people pre-buy tickets, and all sorts of paid employees working the stadium, and having to eat all those costs because they and the NCAA won't do the right thing.

I believe there were accusations of SJSU conspiring to both throw that game against Colorado St and injure Slusser that 1st game back after the 1st round of forfeits.
My son is 10. Any time his select team plays soccer against a team with even 1 girl player .... Immediate eye roll by us parents on the sideline... Kress for SJSt is a POS imo. I've seen him coach and interact with his team and That's my firm belief. Of course I told him to sit down earlier this year in a match when he was crying about a call and he took the time to turn around and tell me "**** you". So I'm not unbiased.
CSU discussed forfeiture earlier this year. The team was split on the decision and finally elected to play (AD weighed in as well) because if they forfeited they would likely miss their chance to play in the NCAA. It's a heavy senior and grad team. It was definitely considered though.zephyr88 said:

That was the allegation. The Tran player and a teammate left the team hotel without permission breaking a team rule. They met with Malaya Jones of CSU. The teammate spilled the beans. The defense was that the trans was joking about what they should do and not serious about the collusion. Both coaching staffs and the conference reviewed the game footage and didn't see any evidence of collusion.
Just not playing the team is the proper answer. That is the seriousness of the moment…..better to be the person, or group that resets this unacceptable nonsense of corrupting woman's sports.
Ultimately it is our responsibility to champion what is proper and acceptable behavior in society. The girls who forfeited any games should be held up as hero's.

How in the world players on any team leave the hotel for several hours and don't get suspended for the next game tells you exactly what kind of weak ass coach you're dealing with.

Just as an update. I just walked into the semifinal game between CSU and SDSt and there were at least a few protestors outside in support of women's sports. Maybe 6. A few were Boise St folks.
San Jose State is watching. The guy is by himself in a row. The rest is the team is sitting together.

I already told y'all they weren't going to forfeit. They didn't forfeit regular season. This is their chance for the NCAA and they are going to play.
They have been kneeling for years. Jones transferred in for USC and joined the other two kneeling a couple years ago. Parents don't kneel but sat through the anthem.
Yeah I didn't think they would forfeit but was curious to see what was being said. We already knew that Jones is a terrible person. Don't know anything about the other two. Just didn't realize anybody was still kneeling.
