Speech was pretty good but at least an hour too long. I think Trump could have had a redefining moment had he ended the speech at the 30 minute mark rather than ad libbing for another hour. To be fair most undecideds watching likely turned it off after the first 20 minutes.

I think the best thing he did with that speech is show STAMINA...

We ARE comparing him to Biden after all. For now.

Who the hell thinks they have the right to put a colck on him tonight anyway. I wasn't shot nthis week. I have also never been persecuted in the courts or publicly smeared.

He needed 30 minutes for Saturday. The rest was a typical speech. 30 minutes OT.

There's not a ton of people that are watching this. It's a clip farm, good and bad, his job was to not look like a crazy person.

Trump is rough around the edges, not the most well spoken ever, but he's America damn it. The ******* child of England who got punched and swung back harder. The country that brought Japan to its knees. Trump personifies that, the good and the bad. Homeboy got SHOT and stood up with blood on his face with his fist up. That's America.

Thoughts on Trumps speech at the RNC:

1. His energy is very different.

It's as if he's gone from grinding to win to being in flow state.

Like an athlete in a state of flow. He's in the zone.

The energy is unique.

Effortless.

2. He's allowing for his team and supporters to say what he wants to say

His generals and speakers at the RNC are saying everything he wants to say. He no longer feels the need to have to say it all.

3. The close call with death has changed him

It's been said when one comes close to death looks and treats life in a different way.

Close call with death causes you to have perspective.

What matters and what doesn't.

Fights worth fighting, and those not worth.

You think about your family, parents, loved ones and things that matter.

4. His pace of speaking is slower

That's a sign of confidence and not needing to over power yourself.

5. He still showed signs of his humor and sarcasm

life and death can give you perspective but it won't change your personality.

his charming and charismatic personality is still. There.

6. He still went through his greatest hits

No tax on tips.
Relationship with world leaders.
Immigration and the border.
Lowering taxes and interest rates.
Wars under Biden's watch and not his.
Drill baby drill

7. He's the energizer bunny

He's got the energy and stamina of a 18 year old.

Imagine sitting through a 3 or a 4 day event where you're hearing a ton of people speak. A ton of meetings behind the scenes. A ton of negotiations. A ton of calls.

And you still go 90 minutes or so past midnight as the closing speaker.

Forget about him having more energy than his opponent, Joe Biden at the age of 81.

Every commentator, journalist, editor, camera guy, producer, social media folks and anyone working in production at CNN, FOX, CBS, ABC, BBC begging for Trump to finish his speech so they can go to sleep. Most of which are in their 20's, 30's, 40's and some 50's.

Trump has more energy and stamina than most of you reading this or 10's of millions who won't because you ended up going to sleep.

Do you want a guy that has this type of energy or a 10 to 4 schedule?

8. If you're still reading this I can add 20 more points but I'll finish with this.

In life there are 3 feelings a leader can impose
To be loved
To be feared
To be respected

When it comes down to choosing the leader of the free world, the world is a safer place when your enemies and opponents both FEAR and RESPECT your leader.

Trump provides both for China, Iran, Russia and even those internally who are trying to destroy this great country.

Future looks bright.

Also, I have been very close to death like that. I am not military and don't pretend to understand combat. But I know what happened to him last Saturday feels like.

The fact that he gave that speech five days after getting shot is just amazing. Trump is the Boss.

I agree his speech could have been much more condensed. It didn't lean as heavily into unity as I was hoping, but Trump is Trump, and there's nothing to be sad for about that
