48% are not uniting with him or republicans no matter what he says or even that he gets shot for it. A significant % of dems actually believe Trump set up the assassination attempt to make himself look good.

I rarely post on this forum and I consider myself a moderate. I was really hoping for a great speech to vote for him but I was disappointed. Its not hard to see where I'm coming from. I'm still goimg to vote for him over the puppet we have at the white house. But he could have done much better.


If you think the first half of the speech missed the mark then you came in looking to dislike it.

No I don't see that. Neither do several liberal friends of mine who have texted saying how impressed they've been with the speech. Of course he meandered some. THEY ALL DO. It's the convention speech. If you can't see this then I'm sorry but still appreciate you voting for him over someone that doesn't even know what country he lives in.
