I agree. This helps Trump.Tex117 said:This. I just can't believe there is Trump supporter (or someone even on the fence) that now thinks "Oh, well....now that he is convicted of something to do with falsifying documents and a porn star (ie...more of a tabloid crime than something like Nixon) I now wont vote for him."Agthatbuilds said:

There just can't be that many out there like that. Hell, I'm willing to bet his poll numbers go UP after this.
The Federal Election prosecution MAY be different. But not this.
This issue is the folks that are undecided. How will THIS push them? Towards or away from voting for Trump.Infection_Ag11 said:rgag12 said:Agthatbuilds said:
There is no other candidate. We knew the outcome of this case long ago and let a bonafide successful conservative and he couldn't make a dent.
Trump will likely win in November unless people were waiting on this outcome. Most trump voters accept him for who he is, whether that includes felon or not.
We'll see what the polls say. Hope you're right, but not holding my breath
Nobody who was voting for Trump yesterday has changed their mind today. That person literally doesn't exist.
Now if he were sent to prison? Yes, but literally nobody in his corner gives a **** about this conviction.

I obviously disagree with this verdict as do many others. I believe that the case will be reversed eventually either in the state or federal systems. However, this was the worst expectation for a trial in Manhattan. I am saddened by the result more for the New York legal system…

These are Class E felony charges in NY. Trump is a convicted felon.Houston Lee said:The reason why I asked was that people are saying Trump is a convicted Felon. But, if none of the counts he was found guilty on are felonies, then he ISNT a Felon.aggiehawg said:We will never know unless all of the jurors come and say what they believed the predicate crime was. Merchan made sure of that between the horribad instructions and what was on the still secret verdict form.Houston Lee said:
Where any of the guilty counts for a crime that was a felony?
Its my understanding that these are all misdemeanors.

I don't care what the jury says. Cohen was not a credible witness.

The verdict reading is completed. The jurors all have straight faces.
After parties ask for them to be polled, the jurors individually confirm "Yes" that this is their verdict.Quote:
Donald Trump, who had remained staring straight ahead as the guilty verdict was read on each count, looked over toward the jury box as each member of the panel confirmed their verdict.
He's gone back to looking straight ahead with a straight face as Judge Juan Merchan thanks the jurors.Quote:
Judge Juan Merchan sets a sentencing date for July 11.
No need to do that. A Manhattan jury would vote guilty without any outside influence.peacedude said:FIFYRapier108 said:The juryCasual Cynic said:

These people actually believe the Democrats are the only ones who follow law and order because the media tells them so.

Don't defend anything. Go on the attack. Joe Biden raped an aide and is a pedophile who was molesting his daughter. He purposely hid unsecured confidential documents for years and he and his family have taken money from foreign powers for access.
If you're defending anything you're doing it wrong.

It's okay for their firms though, they probably locked in ten year contracts with the DNC to run amok.Sharpshooter said:
