FL will keep assisting… https://t.co/qOJY2zT1hG
I am glad that DeSantis is an ally of Texas. I've been hard on Abbott and didn't vote for him in the last Republican primary,(voted for him in the general) but if he holds his ground on this I will have a new found respect for him.
.@GregAbbott_TX is exactly right to invoke Texas’ constitutional authority to defend itself.

The Biden Administration has created a national security crisis and put Americans in danger. Their failure is an unconstitutional dereliction of duty.

This entire fiasco is a gambit to pressure SCOTUS to rule in Texas favor. If they don't...?

I'm not sure either side has actually planned for that.

Virginia stands with Texas. @GregAbbott_TX is doing the job Joe Biden and his border czar refuse to do to secure our border.

The Biden administration has turned every state into a border state. We must stop the flow of fentanyl, save lives, and secure our southern border. https://t.co/XaPu2RqJBP
Governor @GregAbbott_TX is doing what @POTUS won’t.

By refusing to act, President Biden is inviting cartels, illegal drugs, and human trafficking into the United States.
We must secure the southern border. https://t.co/K1tAy6pE4e
Then I guess you think Biden is also guilty of this? Since the feds have been doing the same thing?blacksox said:
If what is going o is really an invasion, Abbott has given them "aid and comfort" in the form of free transportation to other states to spread the invasion. That's treason and he should be out to death. At least that's what the constitution says for those who care to read it.
Paxton isn't using Abbott's argument in the court filings though.FIDO95 said:

- his orders to patrol this month haven’t been renewed due to the SecDef being AWOL and rippling down the command
- Texas military has displayed the pinnacle of professionalism and integrity, impressing US military…
Spoke with an officer at Fort Bragg, confirmed same talks are happening there. Sentiment is almost universally “if something happens, I’m immediately going awol and heading to Texas.” https://t.co/VgV9jR00hc

The border is a disaster that continues to spiral out of control, both in terms of people and deadly fentanyl traffic. This is not a partisan issue. This is a national security issue. This is a common sense issue. This is an American issue.

I mean they could but it won't pass. So the better option at this point is to remember that the States have this authority to bypass the Federal Government entirely and it is clearly stated in the Constitution.BMX Bandit said:
