I am glad that DeSantis is an ally of Texas. I've been hard on Abbott and didn't vote for him in the last Republican primary,(voted for him in the general) but if he holds his ground on this I will have a new found respect for him.
Desantis is more useful to the future of the nation right where he is now. He, along with Abbott, can set the course for the nation in a way he may not be able to even as President.
This is that big of an issue. In fact, I would venture to say it's THE biggest issue the nation has experienced since WWII. We either stop it or we don't have a nation, end of story.
