I'm just making sure people know that the reason we have McCarthy is Trump and thus this is a Trump v DeSantis issue. DeSantis has never supported McCarthy going back to his days in the House when he was fighting with McCarthy and Ryan.

You seem to be trying to make this argument that you support DeSantis but this isn't about Trump and somehow people that support DeSantis are in the wrong for bringing it up. As a DeSantis supporter you also bring up every negative poll you can find on DeSantis and talk about how hopeless everything is for him often. You agreeing with DeSantis here is one of the few times I have seen you post positively about DeSantis but even then you are making sure to point out this has nothing to do with him and Trump even though their opinions are on opposite sides.

To me I see Trump as a big source of these problems because he endorsed folks like Romney, McDaniel, Graham, McCarthy, and Ryan and his only real concern isn't about their performance but what they say about him personally. DeSantis is all about policy and results. Yet it seems most people can't see that contrast and I think it is important to point it out to them over and over until hopefully they open their eyes.

Have you ever actually listened to Gaetz? I mean the guy practically lives at MAL and wears MAGA hats everywhere he goes while worshiping the ground Trump walks on. If you think he is going against Trump here without being told to do so I don't know what to tell you. Trump's entire strategy is playing both sides and muddying the water so he can be a RINO and get conservatives to think he is on their side. I mean he has done this over and over again on legislation.

There is a 0.0% chance if Trump publicly called out Gaetz and told him to stop that he would not, hell even privately. They are trying to play people. I mean if you had Chip Roy and DeSantis on opposite ends of this issue it would be the same thing but they don't do stuff like this.

The hand ringing over bipartinship and losing votes is just slowing down the inevitable. Dems aren't keeping their word anyway so why should Reps work with them. They have shown time and time again to do crazy things to get their way, see fire alarm pull, ect.

Some of us are tired of trying to keep this thing running when half the country doesn't care. Let the Dems get a super majority in the House and Senate and they can pass whatever crazy **** they want. Then voters may actually see Dem policy doesn't improve their lives; just makes it worse and we can finally start over once it all falls in under the weight of dumb Democratic policy.

It is a clear danger. Everyone assumes republicans would go more conservative. But, they never block vote like Dems do.

Country is too far gone for compromise. How do you compromise with Marxists? Time to rip the band aid off as Gaetz said. 33,000,000,000,000 is the end of the line. Compromising with leftists on the border is no longer an option. You don't compromise with criminals in elected office. You put your foot down and say that's it. We will go no further.
